Some of you have noticed, (some of you a little more vocally than others) that the Model Editing Experts group has been cleaned and a lot of people have been removed. The primary reason for this was inactivity and if they were active their contributions weren't on par with what I and a few other people believe should have gotten them access. We are changing the requirements, demanded they are a little more demanding, but they are fair and should be easy enough for anyone who deserves the title to do.
As a base requirement we are requiring all applicants to be Contributors and up. There are tons of requests for donators and regular users to join the group with no prior experience of contribution. From there we will review your post history within the model editing section, checking to see how much you've progressed and what we can expect from you. Those are the two base global requirements that will be the same for everyone, after that is where it gets complicated.
Each applicant that meets the first two requirements will get 3 unique model edits they will have to complete. They will be unique to that person and that person alone, this so that that no one can release these edits and the next person can just edit it a bit and send it in. Once your accepted or declined you may of course release the edits to the public, it's entirely up to you as they won't be used in future applications.
So all applicants who got denied over the last few weeks feel free to reapply, and send me a PM letting me know the base information you have and what you would like to do. Be specific and for the love of god, type like a normal human being. I will be automatically deleting any PMs that include the shortening of easily spelled words and any lame ass internet speak.
Thanks a bunch. I need some sleep, enjoy. I know a few of you will not be happy with this. XOXO merfed.
