better version of hunter chest farming (heroic slave pens)

well this goes out to the hutners who hate/suck at wall jumping, but want to try out the slave pen farming

there is the youtube video uploaded from some guy, but here is my addition that makes it so much easier, and faster if you can do it right.

around 1:38 when that hunter goes around to do the jump, instead of jumping stop there

look to your left, there is going to be the pack of mobs surrounding the chest that you want to get

instead of jumping up onto that little island this is what i do that makes it faster

before the island, you can go left stop at that corner

its the corner right when your leaving the tunnel to go into the huge room that contains most of the mobs and what not

what you want to do is pop out your pet, and use eyes of the beast

EOTB your pet to teh opposite side of teh instance, to the same spot wher you put your pet to go past the two guards who are infront of the tunnel which you can watch around 3:11 on the video

take your pet there, get to a safe spot on teh opposite side of the chest

cancel EOTB

FD

pop up, and EOTB your pet where you came from

FD again

get loot

profit

Alright, I've been running SP for the chests with my hunter for a little while now. I've noticed that I get consistently better drops from normal SP than heroic. I know it's a little off-topic, but i was wondering if anybody else has noticed this.

This is an example of the things I've found in the chests.

Heroic
70 green
Assorted pots and scrolls

Regular
Blue gems
mid 60 greens
mid 60 BoE blues
assorted pots and scrolls

i havent done normal sp farming
but in regular i do get blue gems, scrolls, pots, 70 blues/greens all the time

normally in an hour i get at least 2 blue gems +1 boe gem
each chest gives 2-3 mana/health pots
with 6-7g
usually some sort of scroll
guaranteed 68-70 green

yes, after your last chest
take your gear off, die and run back in

they'll be reset

old bumbage, btw i've been meaning to record a new video with my strat, but everytime i go to do the runs i forget to until i hearth out.

im probably going to do it a few times tomorrow though, hopefully i'll remember haha
