All you have to do it extract it to the interface addons folder.

1.65 is Classic
2.17 is TBC
3.048 is Wrath
9.045 is retail
Have i understood which files belong to which version correctly?
Also, currently the 3.048 and 9.045 files has the same checksum, is that normal?

I ask this, why would you need to checksum the file for? What does that gain you?

When anyone else would say 48 and 45 is the same file size can you check. I would reply with, my mistake I have fixed it now.

What did you do, check sum it, virus scan it, decompile it, check the code as well?

Sorry, i am always a little paranoid when visiting new websites.
But, i honestly did not understand which file belonged to which version of wow, and checksum was just one simple method along the way to try and understand what difference there was between the files.

Well if so paranoid, why did you not ask?

Instead you downloaded the file, checksum it and that does not say what addon it is. A checksum does not say if it is era, wrath or retail
But just asking would have provided the answer.
