When you are trapped somewhere far off and you have a friend in the main city, many people have their friends queue them for a bg so they get a free "port" back to town. Most people just sign you up for WSG, AB, or w/e. However, it is much faster and better to use 3v3 and 5v5 skirmish. On my battlegroup these are usually <1 min queues, and you do not get a deserter debuff for leaving after you join. Just something I found that many people do not know
