Foreword
Hey all! And welcome to my guide to making money using Auctioneer!
I'm not the most skilled AH-player ever, but I got some experience using Auctioneer to get me some money!
Btw, I'm using Auctioneer Classic.
First look at Auctioneer
When you open the Auction House window, you'll see a few more buttons/tabs.
Explanation
Buttons:
Scan - Scans the Auction House
Tabs:
Search Auctions - This is the place Im looking for good deals at the auction house!
Post Auctions - "Advanced" posting of your items!
BtmScan - Here, you can also look for good deals, BtmScan is telling you what you're buying the item for, either for vendoring, disenchanting or relisting. It also tells you how profitable the deal is
Scanning
Before you go out on a buying-spree, you'll have to scan the Auction House for a while... I suggest you scan the Auction House at least 2 times a day in a week.
This is to build up your Auction House database, making it more accurate.
Simply press the "Scan"-button on the bottom of the Auction House window.
When the scan is finished, you'll end up with something like this:
Finding good deals
Press the "Search Auctions"-tab at the bottom of your Auction House window.
Here you see my settings aswell, these isn't a must to have like this, but I like to search for deals that have minimum 10g profit.
Press the "Search"-button to search for deals, remember to search bids and buyouts!
When your search is finished, you will end up with something like this:
Here you can see what the buyout is (bid if your searching for bids) and how profitable the items is!
Look, as I said, auctioneer isn't always 100% accurate, do a manual search at the Auction House before buying, so you'll know what the item is selling for.
When you've found a good deal, simply press the "Buyout" or "Bid" button (depends on what you searched for).
Listing your items
List your items during prime-time.
There are most players online between 2PM and 8PM, there are also MANY players online at sundays, so make sure your items is listed in the Auction House at sundays.
