I don't think that it had been posted before.



So... I was bored, didn't had anything to do on my main, so i decided to go to Blood Furnance with my hunter alt.


I've killed few packs and i've noticed that i get 3600+ exp (Rested) per mob. (At level 66)


I know its common sense, but maybe someone will make use of it


I can clear instance till first boss room on EZ mode.

I haven't recorded it from the beginning, so i will just explain tactic to kill imp + 2 mobs.

Simply, full-nuke on imp, let one mob be on your pet, and the second one in freezing trap.


Ps. I got few blue items from these mobs, and many greens
for example, [Boots of the Decimator] just dropped


I can't change name of this topic, so any mod please change it to "[Hunter] 3600+ exp [Rested] / mob @ lvl 63+"

Ok I now tested it and it works but is VERY hard to do if you have a cat like me :P Your Pet needs Armor to survive and a cat just doesnt have the required armor. It's hard to do the Imp+2Mobs thing. I can only manage to kill them if ABSOLUTELY NOTHING goes wrong. Also I think you should have the talent "Thick Hide" as this will increase your pets armor once again. I'm almost oom after I killed all 3 Mobs and I am BM and only use Steady/Autoshot. I think an MM could have mana problems in there!

Actually, i've leveled up this hunter like 2 years ago, only to solo some instances.

So, i guess if i will be bored im gonna try to find new ways of powerleveling/soloing instances as hunter, coz thats the point i leveled him up

I'm doing this at lvl 64, earning myself 4K+ exp per mob on rested. I've taken down everything up to the boss room, but had to stop before I could try killing the engineers. I'm guessing kiting's the only way to go on those.

The pack of 3 just outside the bossroom needs to be kited. Kill one of them, run out of the instance, then you only need to take on two at the same time.

Note though that I already have a BT Geared lvl 70 hunter, so I've got lots of experience. That helps a lot to keep it cool and make sure targets gets aggro bounced the right way. Aggro bouncing is a must at 64 on the imp-packs, or the pet will die.

Thanks for the idea. =) Earned me 10G from my girlfriend, she bet against me that I couldn't take care of the packs of 3 Was a bit edgy on the first try though, made some bad mistakes so that the pet died before even the second mob got killed. So had to kite-kill one mob, res pet, and chain freeze the last mob at the same time.
