Transparet Nice Looking Pet for Hunter

I am going to tell you how to tame ghost saber with few phases:

1. Log in to your hunter character, make sure it is over lvl 20 and knows "Tame Beast"-spell, wch is acquired from lvl 10 hunter class quest.

2. Buy some fish or meat, make sure it is lvl 15 or 25-

3. Move your hunter to northern Darkshore, near the Ruins of Methrysta.

4. Look for small Cat Figurines on the ground, commonly found near the pillars.

5. Once you have found one, open it, just like you would open a chest. It drops a Cat Figurine. These are no use, so you can drop them after you claim it.

6. If you are lucky, a lvl 19-20 Ghost Saber will spawn before you, if not, repeat phases 4 and 5 until it does.

7. Tame it. It isn't very strong, so you wouldn't have to worry about dieing unless your low lvl. After you have tamed it, make sure to feed it IMMEDIATLY, if you won't, it might just flee from you.

Thats the wowhead link for some better coords. Apparently from the discussion around there, it takes a good long time to find one of these and get it tamed, but the picture is awesome.

Oh, and this was blatantly stolen from the comments on wowhead:

BE Hunter - Started north at 18th lvl with a new trash pet (spider), main pet stabled. Skulked around the ruins for two days, killing nagas and collecting 38 pet figurines (including a one-shot that will also spawn a ghost saber to fight for a couple minutes) before finally getting the saber to spawn. Tamed on the first try, though I will admit I was a little surprised at that point and had to ditch the temp pet (now up to Best Friend and both of us lvl 19) fast.

Suggestions: Get to east side of ruins away from road and get up on hillock. Use Eagle Eye to spy around ruins until you find figurine respawn, then skirt ruins and kill nagas around the area to clear. Put your temp pet on Stay and Passive nearby. Make sure Dismiss Pet and Tame Beast are on an action bar. Switch to Aspect of the Monkey and drop a Freezing Trap, then click the figurine. You'll either get a little Cat Figurine (stacks 20 per slot), a one-use Glowing Cat Figurine combat pet token (not the Ghost Saber you are looking for), or a Ghost Saber that will attack (and stick in your freeze trap). Dismiss the temp pet, start the tame beast and even with crits and crushes, you will finish the tame before it kills you.

Feed to happy level before the spawn timer runs out and the pet auto-dies, so that when you raise pet it will only be a little unhappy. Enjoy!

well maybe you should post "old news" ... even this is old news for you, i'm playing wow for 2 years and i've heared about this Ghost Saber pet yesterday when a friends asked me to escort him in Darkshire. And there are still many new players that will enjoy this guide.

yes this cat is the reason i made a hunter after 1.1 cause before that he was untameable ,now every other cat is a ghostcat lovely and unlike the now removed ghostwolf still out there

To all you Dorfs out there, if you put on your Hidden Treasure racial, the Cat Figurines appears on the minimap to loot.

Nice guide and all but since ppl posted about this pet, everyone has it... Now my hunter ain't unique on my server lol :P but 2x+Rep for the effort though
