These 2 mini-guides are taken from my mmo-site, and I've written them myself. Searched around a bit here but didn't see any really good guides, so posting these. Enjoy!

The Aldor Faction Guide

Welcome to the Aldor Faction Guide. This guide contains some tips and guidelines to gain reputation with the Aldor faction, one of the two Shattrath factions you are set to choose from when first entering Shattrath.



Faction with the Aldor can get you decent rare gear, great inscriptions (enchants for shoulders) and unlocks special quests for the Aldor in Shadowmoon Valley and Netherstorm.


When you first pick the Aldor as your faction, you will become Friendly with them. There are several reputation items connected to the Aldor, with different uses and rewards depending on your current standing with the faction.


Note: For every 10 reputation you gain with the Aldor, you will loose 11 with their opposing faction, the Scryers. If you want to switch faction for any reason, you will have to farm the below stated quest until you reach Neutral:

• [Dreadfang Venom Sac] (Repeatable quest, gives 250 reputation)

Worth to mention is that you can at any time, turn in [Fel Armament] for 350 reputation each time, plus 1 x [Holy Dust], which can be turned in for Inscriptions (shoulder enchants). However, the wisest thing would be to save these until you are revered, that is the time when you will need them the most.

Neutral to Honored:

• [Mark of Kil'Jaeden] (Repeatable quest, gives 25 reputation per item)

Honored to Revered and Exalted:

• [Mark of Sargeras] (Repeatable quest, gives 25 reputation per item)
• [Fel Armament] (Repeatable quest, gives 350 reputation per item, plus 1 x [Holy Dust])

The Scryers faction guide:

Welcome to the Scryers Faction Guide. This guide contains some tips and guidelines on how to gain reputation with the Scryer faction, one of the two Shattrath factions you are set to choose between when first entering Shattrath.


Faction with the Scryers can get decent rare gear, great inscriptions (enchants for shoulders) and unlocks special quests for the Scryers in Shadowmoon Valley and Netherstorm.

However, the wisest thing would be to save these until you are Revered, hat is the time when you will need them the most.
