Easy money with enchanting

First of all you need Halaa to be controlled by your faction. I don't know about alliance, but I guess it's the same for them. Now, go to Halaa and find this npc:

He has limited supply of those items:

Arkadian Claymore - Items - World of Warcraft - Arkadian Claymore
The Sharp Cookie - Items - World of Warcraft - The Sharp Cookie

The first one costs 8.77g, the second 2.21g. They are disenchantable, usually into multiple greater planar essences, that sell for 10g on my server. Those two items have a short respawn timer, I think 10 or 15 minutes. You invest 10g to buy those greens and then, worst case scenario, each disenchants into 1 greater planar essence, and you make 10g profit. But usually its around 3 greater planar and of course sometimes a large prismatic shard. They can also de into big amounts of arcane dust.

They sell for 2g on my server i gotta make my money by buying low level items and dissing them, i know its outrages :'(

at first i read "unlimited supply" and was stoked that i was flying by nagrand...flew to halaa to find only 3 ...came back to this page and re-read your post.

still, i just got 5 Greater Planar Essences and 1 Battle token because some stupid paladin started attacking me.

Idk about your server, but on mine, that would sell for 50g, and seeing as you spent only 7g or so on buying the 3 items, that's easy profit, isn't it?

I have been using this on two different servers for quite some time.

I do advise against over abusing it. I have almost single handedly driven the price of Greater Planars on one server down 3g over the past two weeks with it.

Wish there were more vendors like this.

Indeed, overdoing it might wreck the price of the enchanting materials, so don't try to suddenly sell 500 greater planars, just do it steadily over the course of serveral days.
