Some great ways to make a ton of gold around the Christmas season:


#1: "Mini-gaming"..
1 - Buy wrapping paper from the Christmas vendor.
2 - Buy junk from the general store, (mustn't be stackable)and buy some cheap greens from the AH.
3 - Make an attractive macro, something like "Palumirs amazing mini-game is now taking place at the Stormwind Bank steps! You trade me, enter a gold amount, I show three boxes, you pick one. If you get the box with the green item in it, you WIN DOUBLE your gold! Come on down and play, all are welcome!".
4 - Wrap two of your junk items, and one green.
5 - When people come down to play, put up your three wrapped gifts up. Remember where the green is.
6 - If they choose the one with the green in it, while removing the other boxes from the trade, switch one with the box with the green in it.
7 - They loose, you get the gold amount they put in.

FAQ for "Mini-gaming":
Why don't you just put up three junk items?
So if you get PMed from a GM you can tell them that you aren't scamming anyone, they look, see that you've actually got wrapped greens, and they go back to getting payed for playing a game.

What if people don't play?
Eventually more people will start playing, and trusting you, just the other night I had a 200g bet, and guess what, he lost. /snicker.

Tips for "Mini-gaming":
- let people win. (the <1g bets /lol)
- try your best to gain the trust of the people.
- advertise on /2, and /yell.
- get some friends to be maskots, have fun with it. I had a friend come in a Murloc costume, which attracted a good amount of attention. He was advertising aswell.
- look attractive, get some winter clothes, hop on your reindeer mount, and your ready to go.


#2: "Christmas Items":
1 - Buy bag slots in your bank, and bags for your bank.
2 - Buy all of the Christmas pets, and items in the auction house that is priced lower than 10 gold.
3 - Buy 20 from the Christmas vendor, you should buy one stack of snowballs for each pet. (pets require snowballs to summon)
4 - Wait until the seasons out. (I.E, a few months, or until Summer)
5 - Make a sexy macro/ad, something like "Selling [item link], [another item link], for (your price i.e. 100g), if you buy a pet, you get a free stack of snowballs to summon your newly aquired minion! PST!".
6 - Sell your items, give the buyer a stack of snowballs for each pet they buy. The pets can go for 50-150g. Most people love the snowmen.

FAQ for "Christmas Items":

Why include 20 snowballs with the pets?
They just make it much more sexier for the buyer. Snowballs are required to summon the pets aswell.

Tips for "Christmas Items":
- act like the items are way more expensive then what you are selling them for.
- be polite, and talk with good grammar.

Good idea would be to actually let one or two people win, so that you don't have 15 players whining that this is a scam because nobody has actually won.

This could be advertised and used at the Brewfest, mayby dressed in the brewfest clothes? tho it isnt anything like christmas, and the gifts are. (apologiez for my eng)
