At the top of our screens, we have a new Reinforcements resource. When this reinforcement value hits 0 the team loses. There are a few ways to drop the reinforcements to 0.
This guide is for horde only
Reinforcements are Lost through death (1 point) Destruction of a tower/bunker (80), killing the captains Balinda or Galvangar (90), killing vandar stormpike or Drekthar (100% loss)
Next i shall explain the towers/bunkers
Each tower/bunker is not only tied to 80 reinforcements, but also 1 of the 4 commanders in either vandar's or drekthar's room. The commanders hit for 2-3k on cloth, can be tanked by a raid speced tank n healbot
Forget the tanking shit, cos its stupid, this is the stratergy for OFFENSE
Zerg both Stonehearth n Icewing Bunkers + Captain balinda to remove 3 damn commanders in vandar's room, for lots of honour
Stealthers like druid healers and rogues, advance onwards and hit DUNBALDAR NORTH AND SOUTH BUNKERS (rogues will need healing, 2 rogue 1 druid will own the place) the rest of offense, grab STORMPIKE GRAVEYARD, and cap Icewing n stonehearth.
Once Stormpike graveyard is on cap, 3 defend, the rest, pressure until aidstation is taken. Once the pieces are set, we can win easily (never attempt to kite vandar or any of his commanders out of his room as it will reset the fight)
DEFENSE
Prefered specs are PVP specs that cannot hit vandar for nuts, ret pallies welcomed, decip priests too
ALWAYS go in a GROUP OF FIVE
Let them put oncap Iceblood and Towerpoint, when they move on its safe, take it back (within 4 mins). Don't bother defending graveyards, those are useless on defense, you need only to ZERG BACK TOWERS so our commanders stay alive, save CAPTAIN GALVANGAR if you can (hes near iceblood tower)
If you follow this stratergy you will not lose.
