Ok, as many of you know, with the introduction of 1.11, came Naxx, and rewards from Argent Dawn and the Scarlet Crusade. These rewards require the turn in of a number of "Mark of the Dawn" and "Mark of the Crusader". Generally grinding the items which are needed would take many hours, and if you want to make gold at the same time, you have absolutely no hope of getting the two things at once if you just select one if the items off the list and go on a wild goose chase.

(If you don't know what I am on about, you turn in items such as "Savage Frond" and "Core of Elements" in lots of 30 to get the Marks, which can be in turn turned in to get items such as 18 slot bags, and epic items, this is a good way to get things if you don't like raiding all the time, or something to do between raids)

This is why I will outline the best ways to get your rewards the fastest, and to get them while making sufficient gold.

--Mark of the Dawn--
Getting "Mark of the Dawn" is in my opinion, a lot easier, all you need is to kill almost any type of higher level elemental for the item "Core of Elements", however, if you are looking to make money at the same time, head to Silithus. The North West Corner of Silithus has rock elementals, but these aren't what you want. They are behind a small mountain range, and around the rest of that mountain area, there are Air elementals which drop "Essence of Air" (from my experience sells from 10-20g, but i have heard of up to 50g a piece). Kill these air elementals as they drop 1 Core per 2-3 Elementals killed. The elementals are level 56-57, so you could be 54 and still doing this in preparation for 60.

--Mark of the Crusader--
I don't like getting these as much, but if you play it well you can get the item needed for these "Savage Frond", at the same time as making gold, and getting "Core of Elements" for the Mark of the Dawn. You want to go to Irontree woods in Felwood. Here you will find not only the Irontree Stompers which drop "Savage Fronds", but you will also find Toxic Horrors, which drop "Essence of Water" AND "Core of Elements". The toxic horrors are in and around the lake, and the Irontree guys are mainly on the North and East sides of the lake. Essence of Water sells for ~8g in my experience, but again, it could very well go for more on your server as mine is high population. You should work your way around the lake killing Toxic Horrors at the same time as killing Irontree Stompers. If you are in this more for the Savage Fronds (as i assume you are) then try to be killing more Irontree Stompers. However if you also want some "Mark of the Dawn"s, I would go for more Toxic Horrors, as they will be giving you more gold aswell. The Toxic Horrors and Irontree guys are 54-57.

Going all out on just the Toxic Horrors, you can make I would estimate 30-60g an hour anyway, and combining this with getting the Core of Elements and the Savage Fronds, you are going to be well on your way to getting the epic/superior gear you desire.

Don't want the epic gear offered? Sell your Fronds and Cores. 250 Core of Elements goes for 100-150g on my server, opening up your options for buying BOE gear off the AH. Don't feel you are bound totally by the Lights Hope Chapel Rewards!!

I would suggest people that wants to get Mark of the Crusader farms the Undeads in WPL for them, they are lots there so it would be killing whole the time, AND they die quick, around 1 bone fragment per 2 kills which is really good.

thats the way it goes for me too.. if we share our accounts, they get banned. tault is very tight on their account security.
