    4 Ways to escape Mobs

    As you already know, there are a couple effective ways to escape Mobs.
    Escaping Mobs may be common sense to some people, but maybe not to others.
    So what you need is:
    1. How to
    2. Pics


    Four different ways to do it:
    1. ZigZag
    2. Patched
    3. Stand on objects, unaccessible to Mobs
    4. Use Class/Race abilities

    So, let's get started!

    1. The ZigZag
    This is one of the more simple ones....
    You just run, while spamming the strafe left then the strafe right button.
    The mobs tailing you will start to jump back and forth and it is harder for them to hit you.

    2. Make a Mob think it cannot get to you
    Patched, don't bother reading it.
    Now this is a bit trickier:
    It's pretty hard to explain, and it's even harder to do, so here's a picture.(A picture is worth more than a 1000 words, isn't it?)


    Now what you want to do is make sure that you are at the spot where the Pic shows you to go BEFORE the Mob reaches the spot where it is shown.
    The Mob will think it cannot reach you and reset after a while.
    (Sorry for that crappy paintjop by the way... I hope you still got the point)

    3. Using certain ingame-Objects
    There are some Objects in the game which you can stand on to make a mob reset. For example in the Nightelf starting area: (Tip try to cast a spell on a Mob here, its quite funny)

    There are many other objects that have the same effect... You can usually tell. If you're not sure, then just try it out!

    4. Racial and Class Abilities
    Some Races and most Classes have Abilities that make escaping easier for you.

    Racial Abilities:
    1. Orc: No useful Abilities except for maybe +25% Stun and daze resist.
    2.Troll: None
    3.Undead: None
    4.Tauren: Warstomp
    5. Bloodelves: None
    1.Human: None
    2.Dwarf:None except increased armor
    3.Gnome: Escape artist which frees you of any daze, root, trap, etc...
    effects.
    4.Nightelves: Increased agility, but it does'nt really help
    5. Draenai: Heal

    Class abilities:
    1.Mage: Polymorph, Blink or Iceblock+Frostnova
    2.Warlock:Howl of terror, Fear, Demonic Sacrifice(Voidwalker), Split soul
    3.Priest: Shield, Psychic scream
    4.Rouge: Solar Plexus, Vanish, Blind and Sprint
    5.Warrior: Intimidating shout, Piercing Howl, Hamstring
    6.Paladin: Divine Shield, Hammer of Rightousness(Paladins do Bubble+Hearthstone a lot in front of me xD)
    7.Druid: Travel Form, bash, cyclone
    8.Shaman: Earthbinding Totem, "Aggro" Totem
    9.Hunter: Frosttrap, Frostnova trap, Disengage and of course: Feign Death

    You kinda forgot the best aggro wipe in the game, Feign Death, but other than that, good job! +rop

    druids have travel form to run away or just bash or warstomp and cyclone then run away

    priest: psychic scream (instead of something simmilar to HoT)
    rogue: what is solar plexus? you mean blind? add sprint to that
    druid: travel form, cyclone+run

    ye or as a druid u can always go cat form and then dash usually works for me when i aggro to many mobs

    anyway nice to see how u made every race / class own abilities. GJ

    Warrior: Hamstring -> Intercept -> Piercing Howl -> Run (grants a 3 second stun along with 50% reduced mob speed)

    nice guide, although the paint drawing is a tad confusing xD

    Isn't it kind of obvious?

    Simple check if you can use it to run away:

    -Does the spell/ability slow down the enemy, speed you up, or make it unable to act?

    If so, grats, it's a runaway ability.

    thanks for tips but u should add that Druids can get out of there form and go travelform, and rouges can sprint, if ur spected warriors can shout which reduces everyones speed by 50%, and for hunters take of cheetah >.<

    If you were a protection specced warrior you could also do concussion blow (stun for 5 sec)

    Spam Q & E (default strafe) is the best for me, pally 57, fun to watch the mobs follow me, also works on hunter's pets and voidwalkers, succubus.
