Black Temple AoE farming

Searched and didn't find a match.

You Need:

-Mage (Does NOT have to be frost. Imp Blizzard is not required here.)

-Paladin (Holy actually is better than prot for this, with the 2.3 +Healing -> SD changes)

-Both need epic mounts

Buffs:

-Amplify Magic (On Paladin)

-Blessing of Kings (On both. Blessing of Wis is an alternative)

-Concentration Aura (So the Paladin can spit heals on himself with no cast loss)

-Arcane Intellect (etc.)

-Righteous Fury (More aggro from Holy spells, this is required.)

More in-depth strategy:

-Mage starts at one end, Paladin starts at the other.

-Run to center, aggroing mobs on the way

-Meet in center

-Paladin throws down consecrate while mage either;
i) Ice blocks to lose aggro
or
ii) Paladin BoP's Mage to lose aggro

-Paladin spams Holy Light and Consecrate to hold aggro while Mage is throwing Blizzards on the pack of mobs

-Loot

Result:

-Sunfury Signets (Hand in for Scryer rep, or trade for aldor items)

-Arcane Tomes (Scryer rep or trade/sell)

-Random Greens/Blues (AHables etc. Lunacy cards seem to drop a lot for me)

-Netherweave Cloth (Great for the Mage)

-20 Silver per mob (20s * ~18 = 360s = 3.6g per pull)

I'm sorry you didn't like it, but if you re-read my guide you'll see that the mage does NOT have to be Frost and the Paladin does NOT have to be Prot. That's a save in 200g repair bills right there. You are able to stay your raid specs and utilize each other for farming/fun. (It is also very difficult for a paladin to pull all those mobs and kill them because of the flash heal spam and -75% SD debuff they throw on you)
