Guild Banks

Just some pics/info on what you guys can expect from the Guild Bank feature coming up in Patch 2.3.


Guild banks are a 'Vault' in all major banks:

• Rick-Clicking the Vault will open your Guild Bank

There is 6 available 'Tabs' your Guild Leader can purchase:

• Tab 1 - 100g
• Tab 2 - 250g
• Tab 3 - 500g
• Tab 4 - 1000g
• Tab 5 - 2500g
• Tab 6 - 5000g
• Each Tab contains 98 bank slots

Each Tab can be 'Named with an Icon':

• Only the GM can rename Tabs
• Allows appropriate storage of items

Click on a Tab to see its contents:


The Guild Leader can grant access to members of the Guild:

• Only the GM can set permissions
• Access to Tabs is set via Guild Ranks

Members can also be granted access to view the logs of deposits/withdrawals:

• Each Tab records 50 logs
• Each Tab's logs are viewable until it's surpassed (no time limit)

Repairing items using the Guild Bank funds:

• The GM can set these permissions (using Guild ranks)
• The GM can set the amount of gold/day for members to use for repairs
• Every NPC capable of repairing gives you the option to "use Guild funds for repair" (even repair bots)

Notes: (I'll update these when I do further tests)

• 9350g: To purchase all available Tabs
• 98 bank slots/tag: 588 in total
• Withdraw Gold(gold/day): The amount listed here is currently only set in Copper. Hopefully when it goes live we have the option to set Gold|Silver|Copper (Or just Gold will do).
• Withdraw Items(stack/day): The amount listed here is unknown for the moment. I'm guessing the number you put here indicates 1 bank slot (I had no one online to test it with - will update this post when I test it).
• Regardless of the amount set in the control panel: The Guild Leader can withdraw any amount of items/gold.
• The Guild Bank cannot store 'Soulbound' items.

Pro's:

• Finally, we can delete that second account we've been paying a subscription for over the past 2 years to operate a Guild Bank. Hooray!
• No longer will you need to log the guild bank multiple times during the days, or before Raids, for members (simply grant them access).

Con's:

• No time-stamps for Logs.
• Should have 8 Tags instead of 6 (I know my Guild will need this amount).
• Better have trust in the members you're granting access to.

I'll try to keep this post updated for you all.

Updated:
Previously I had written "Reports so far, that the Logs are only viewable for a couple of hours (will test this out over time)".
- This is not true. Logs stay visible until it's surpassed by that Tab's 50th logged entry.

Added some info on the option to "use guild funds for repairs".

I like to think of this as a "Guide" to the new Guild Banks.

Well its a nice feature.

But i think that its a little late for blizzard to release it. Guilds have existed like forever and after many years that release it. Don't make any sense.
