if you knew much about programming or hacking, you would know that a virus can pretty much attack itself to ANYTHING.
a while back there was a bug in the way firefox handled images that could allow code to be run from the image.
This in turn could allow people to put viruses/trojans etc on your comp.

You might not be able to get a virus directly from EVERYTHING but if the program you open that file with has a vulnerability in it, then it is very possible to get them...
