We all know, that this Item will be unobtainable in Legion in therefore, its price will skyrocket for sure. This means: At some point it's better to keep it and sell it in Legion, than selling it now. You have to consider these following steps when stockpiling and selling for profit:

1. You sell your items, at any time, if the price is right. Until few days ago, you got like 10k for one toy. Now the price is approx 8k. (Aka it's sinking). So you sell as long as you get good gold.
2. You don't stockpile your farmed items. Why should you? You sell it for good gold and you simply buy the items to stockpile, when their price is at the absolute minimum. You sell your farmed items, when the time is good (toy price 10k++)
3. You buy the Items from the auctionhous when the price is at the lowest point. Those are the items you will stockpile.

So, the important part is, that this Toy is available for 2 weeks now, and will be available for almost 2 weeks and in this future 2 weeks, there will be a point, where people are starting to buy those toys, because they want to sell it in Legion for huge profit. The time is NOW.

Why? Every Day closer to Legion, people will realize, that this toy will be unobtainable, and they will stockpile too. Every Day closer to Legion, more and more people will come back and buy this toy, before the price will skyrocket. Every day closer to Legion, it is very unlikely, that the current market value will drop further, even if it would drop further, the price would go down only for a few gold.

If you miss the right moment to stockpile, a guy from your server will buy all toys from the auctionhouse and you're done. No profit for you.

I suggest to buy every toy, until the price is 20k. It depends on the gold you want to invest. If there are 30 Toys for 9k each, youre pretty much good to go with those. If there are only 5 toys for 10k-20k, buy all of them.

A real "hoarding" will start, and currently we are at the middle of the "4 weeks from prepatch to legion". If the price didn't drop to 1k, it won't drop to it and the current market price is basically the lowest as it gets.

Sorry, but thats the most stupid thing, i ever heard. First of all, it's unobtainable, so the actual value does not matter, because the price will skyrocket. FACT.

EVEN if their value is "almost nothing", you just buy everything and you will control the market. FACT.

There is a reason why this toy is still worth 10k, because there is a high demand and there arent 300 toys on the AH. If you think, people will stockpile those, having guildbanks full of them and put them on the AH in Legion and try to undercut each other until their value is like nothing, you don't know how this works. If they are that stupid, you just buy them. ALL of them.

It will work like this: 1. option: one guy will buy every toy and sets the price to 300k. everybody will undercut it, until they get to the actual market value, but because of the fact of being unobtainable, the prices will go up more and more and more. EZ PROFIT 2. option: you simply see less and less toys on the market. EZ PROFIT

first of all, it's PRE-EVENT. if they don't keep the actual NPC's/Quests, whatever, they won't give you the option to obtain the same items from somewhere else, besides the BMAH. And that's their solution. PRE-EVENT Pet and Toy will simple spawn in the BMAH or completly removed as the anniversary stuff.

This involves some kind of speculations right here. You can think whatever you want. There will always be that one guy, who makes tons of profit and there will always be plebs.

The spreader is much easier to obtain and price is probably going to crash into 2-3k (depends on how many people are coming back before legion) since there are 2 weeks left before it's done.

I suggest you to sell now and buy when the price is really low.

I don't know i think he is right i think the price will go up after this. However im sure a bunch of people are aware of this and are farming it for tons of them. Returning players will be popping up from now until maybe the first few months of legion after that the market will be dead cause people who would have wanted it would have been playing and gotten it if they wanted it

I remember the Coin of Many Faces from the Winter Veil (or some other world event last year) was sold for like 500g on my server. I sold one for 80k last week (medium populated EU server) and I sell around 2 per week (price varies tho).
People will always buy toys and pets, some people who never bothered want some now (due to new rewards for Achievements) or just new players starting out.
Don't underestimate how valuable unobtainable items are (and the Coin I was talking about isn't even unobtainable!). It might take months or even years to get a decent price for it, but over time the value goes up !

Keep at it, don't overcommit on buying or wanting to sell too fast and you'll be just fine.
