A little "what to do in Legion" Guide
Hey folks,
i'm gonna list here some things you should keep an eye on in the first legion weeks.
Mostly relevant for raiders.
Pre-Legion Preparation
- Get a Waterstrider Mount. (It will save you some time while questing in Legion)
If you want to know how to obtain one, click HERE.
- Get the new Heirloom trinkets.
If you want to know what they are and where to get them click HERE.
- Max out your professions.
If you want Profession leveling guides click HERE.
- You can try and get the Checkered Flag. +30% mount speed for 10 mins is always nice.
If you want to know how to get it click HERE.
- Get some Flasks and Pots for your class. Always good to have that extra damage boost.
- Stock up on some gold. Always good to have some gold when a new expansion hits.
- Clean up your bags and your quest log. Noone wants the "Your quest log is full" message while leveling.
- Think about what class and spec you want to play. Keep in mind that DD and Tank spec's level many times faster than Healing Specs.
- If you want you can install the Auto Turn In Addon to quest faster.
Legion Leveling
I wont cover the leveling part as a whole.
Would be too much for this guide.
But here are some tips:
- Pick Stormheim as your starting zone.
The Introductory Questline is a Scenario. These tend to be lag-free so you can level fast without being annoyed by lags and rollbacks
- At lvl 102 you can get the first order hall trait
- At lvl 105 you can get the second order hall trait
- If you have Gatherer Professions you should speak to your profession trainers to unlock the 800 skill cap, so you can get xp and lvl your profession while leveling.
- Complete the dungeon quests before you hit 110. They reward ~130k xp each.
- Do the Artifact quests for your other specs. (They also reward some nice xp.)
- Do your Order Hall quests.
Level 110
- Complete your Oder Hall Quests.
- Complete Quests in Suramar until you need more reputation to quest further. ( You gain lots of Artifact Power from Suramar quests).
Every DayTo Do List:
- Start Artifact Research Work orders.
- Start Order Hall Advancement Orders.
- Complete random heroic dungeons for Artifact Power.
- Do Suramar Daily's until you hit Revered.
- Do Warden Daily's until you hit Revered.
- Do Profession Daily's if you have any.
- Do other Daylis. Mainly looking for: Artifact Power, Item Rewards, Order Hall Resources.
Every Week To-Do List:
- Grab Seals of Broken Fate. (Heres short Video on where to get the quests.)
- Kill a world boss for loot,
- Do Mythic Dungeons.
(If you do them at the end of the week, you will gain more Artifact Power due to having more completed Artifact Research Work orders.
Granted you started those orders early enough)
Gearing:
Heres an image of what item lvl can be obtained where.

Learn more about Reputation Gear.
Closing words
Thanks for reading!
If you want more Information, you can take a look at Medivhs Google Spreadsheet, where I took most of the Information from. Kudos to him!

Nice guide, I'll add a couple of things that you can put on the guide if you want to. When you are upgrading your Order Hall there are 2 traits that only took hours to unlock and they unlock at 102 and 105 (tier 1 & 2). So If you wanna be super eficient when hitting 100 I recomend to do the first research at lvl 102 when you go for your off specs artifacts (first tier took 2 hours I think) And then when you hit 105 you can start your tier 2 research. If you do this you will be able to start tier 3 as soon as you hit lvl 110. This will probably be a whole day advance in case you are planning to do a 1 day leveling and then going to sleep when you hit Honored with Nightfallen and finish your world quest.
Also, as soon as you complete the quest when Dalaran is moved from Karazhan to Broken Isles you really want to visit all proffesion trainers to unlock your skill cap to 800. This will not only allow you to level your proffesions while leveling (especially Miner, Herbalist and Skinner) but also will give you more quest that you will find in the path you do when leveling so it's around 10-15 quests free cause most are "mine 5 ores" or "craft this item" and they give you the mats so it's 5-30 seconds for every extra quest and more experience.
Also at lvl 102 you get a quest "Fallen Star" that reward some decent XP and it's also lag free cause it's an scenario in Exodar. You may want to do it after you get all your offspecs artifacts imo.
One last thing I will add as the "every week to do" part is that you probably want to do your Mythics dungeons the last days of the week (at least before raids opens) cause you don't really "need" the gear and you will get way more Artifact Power if you do it with more artifact knowledge research completed. For people who don't know, bosses in dungeons drop items that reward Artifact Power. This items scales with your artifact knowledge level. This means that if an item reward 100 AP you will get the same item to give you 175 if you are lvl2 or 275 if you are lvl3 and 400 if you are lvl 4, the scale of this is really big so you really wanna do some things when your AK is higher, like some Emisary quest or Mythic dungeons. Each knowledge level takes up to 5 days to complete. If you start late in the expansion each research will take less days ( I think 1 day is the minimun). Also we don't know if the first levels or AK are 5 days or less cause there was some bug on early beta...
Anyway nice guide and hope this helps a little too
