New Tomes of Polymorph Variants for Mages

So with 6.0.2 four Tomes of Polymorph were added in game but no drop source was available till now.

Tome of Polymorph: Monkey - Item - World of Warcraft can be obtained easily in Unga Ingoo located in south krasarang wilds ,Pandaria. Farm monkeys to your heart's content

Tome of Polymorph: Polar Bear Cub - Item - World of Warcraft for this one you will want to travel to the continent of northrend , go to Dragonblight and kill Arctic Grizzly - NPC - World of Warcraft around Agmar's Hammer

Tome of Polymorph: Porcupine - Item - World of Warcraft can be obtainable in Pandaria , i killed Smoky Porcupine - NPC - World of Warcraft in Jade forest and had it dropping shortly

It is very likely that the above mobs arent the only ones dropping the tomes , for example the monkey one might be native to all hozen npcs and the porcupine one to all the porcupines in pandaria so i cited the acual mobs i killed and got a drop from (impossible for monkey one since i killed loads of them with AoE)

Edit: The tomes are selling like hotcakes right now go get them fast!

To accomplish this farm you need to be a mage and if you learn the tome of polymorph it is very likely it wont drop again so if you want to sell them (they are worth thousands of golds at the moment) sell first and learn later.

P.S. :I havent discovered the drop location of the 4th elusive tome : Tome of Polymorph: Penguin - Item - World of Warcraft if i manage to find it ill keep this post updated!

Yes. I got 2 monkeys in about 30 minutes and 2 porcupines in 1½ hours

I sold 2x monkey for 250k , 2x monkey for 50k (after price crashed) , 1x bear for 300k and 1x porcupine for 300k , all sold within 4hrs with minor trade chat spamming to get the word out there , i lowered the price of porcupine and bear to 250k cuz other people started getting them too. Will check in later will final results

yes only for mages! but i think its fixed ! because two hours for try to have porcupine, 350 kill+ and nothing

yeah i also believe the drop rate might've been lowered, i;ve been farming monkeys for 30 mins and nothing whereas when before i was getting about 3 tomes/30 mins, but we'll see i guess. It would be very surprising if Blizzard acted this quickly tbh

I looted my first polar bear cub in about 10 minutes. Nearly two hours later, nothing. If they did fix it, it was only in the last couple of hours. Also could just be entirely RNG.

Been farming for about 30 min now and i got nothing. But i talked to someone farming and he told me he got just got 2 in 10 min so i dunno if hes really lucky or if he is lying.

I think the penguins in Howling Fjord in the SW area of the Tuskkar? people have a chance. There isn't many penguins in game lol.

EDIT: Fjord Penguin doesn't have a loot table.

The only guy in EU having looted the Penguin tome (or at least the only one selling it) just ignored me and my messages about where he looted it. He's selling it 3M on Draenor-EU.
