Actually , flipping the cards is the real pain .
Tried it with around 1500 cards , was a pain and time consuming .
Profit is like really low comparable to what you're able to use the Primal Spirit for . Unless you're really really lucky .
I used around 1500 cards and only had the 1000 card only .
Do it in case you want to try something new .

Today I made another batch of but this time I used all my alts daily CDs for few days ( I also used War Paints that I had left ), since that is probably the best way to do it simply because its so much cheaper that its just stupid not to do it.
You can also you profession hut but you don't have to, using hut its still cheaper than using Primal Spirits to make War paints but more expensive than using daily CD.
Now little bit om math before I give you my final result. If we use prices as mentioned in the 1st post we get this:
1. Using daily CD wil give you 20 war paints and it will only cost you 10 Cerulean Pigments, as I mentioned for 10 Cerulean Pigments you dont need more than 25 herbs so using the price of 0.8g for 1 herb you get that those 10 Cerulean Pigments wont cost you more than 20g, or that each War Paint this way cost you 1g to make or 6x less than using using Primals ( buying them from herb vendor ).
2. If you decide to use profession hut as well ( for that you dont need to have Inscription ) you will need 14 Cerulean Pigments on a daily basis which will grant you 14 war paints. In other words each Cerulean pigment will grant you 1 war paint and it will cost you 2g ( 2.5 herbs for one with the price of 0.8g = 2g ). Thats still 3x cheaper than buying and using Primals but 2x more than using daily CD
So lets see the cost of one card using:
1. From 20 war paints you would be able to create 40 cards and that will put a price for 1 card on 0.5g!!!
2. You will be able to create only 20 cards since you will need 5 war paints for 10 cards but I will calculate that you can create 30 card ( for that you will need 15 war paints ) so that will cost you 30g or 1g per card
If you plan to use both methods average price for 1 card you be - 70 cards total, gold spent 50g = 0.71g which is pretty cheap
I will open 159stacks of 20card or some 3180 cards with the cost price of about 2260g ( For this I used average price for 1 card if i use both methods ).
Now lets see the numbers
Out of 3180 cards i got following
583 Cards worth 1 copper or 18.3%
543 Cards worth 10 silver or 17.07% worth 54.3 gold
1004 Cards worth 50 silver or 31.57% worth 502 gold
720 Cards worth 1 gold or 22.64% worth 720 gold
178 Cards worth 5 gold or 5.5% worth 890 gold
62 Cards worth 10 gold or 2% worth 620 gold
41 Cards worth 20 gold or 1.3% worth 820 gold
31 Cards worth 50 gold or 0.97% worth 1550 gold
15 Cards worth 100 gold or 0.47% worth 1500 gold
2 Cards worth 1000 gold or 0.062% worth 2000 gold
1 Card worth 3000 gold or 0.031% worth 3000 gold
0 Card worth 6000 gold or 0%
//////////////////////////////////////////////
//////////////////////////////////////////////
Cards worth total of 11656 gold
Lets sum op: Total cards = 3180; cost about 2260 gold
Sp the profit is 11656 - 2260 = 9296 gold or close to 3g per card, and that is not that bad at all.
Now you may ask how I got that many War Paints, well its simple, I have 11 inscribers with profession + profession house and thats 374 War paints each day or close to 750 card each day.
In monthly terms I can make 22500 cards and if you use profit margin of 3g thats close to 70k gold just from vendoring. Now i know I have a lot of inscribers so yeah, that means a lot but you can also make probably 30-40% more if you use Primals that you get from missions
I you are interested I can wait for 5 or 10 days and see how much can I earn/lose that time..
NOTE: This is based on luck like 1st post but if you are using this method ( Hut + daily profession CD ) even if you dont get any epic card you would still earn gold.
Just on a side note, if you wanna know how much gold is that per hour. Lets see, it takes me about 15min to do Daily Cds + set new orders on those 11 characters, thats about 7.5 hours monthly. It took me about an 1.5 hours to create and open all cards ( about 3200 ) so for 23000 cards you will need 10.5 hours or monthly time spent is about 18 hours ( or 20 if you count time you need to buy some herbs + mill them and get regents ). So 20 hours each month for a profit of about 70k is about 3500g per hour.

Nice thread markons. I've been doing this for a while now, each time opening 5000 to 10000 cards. Last night i opened 5000 cards with profit of 21k when i cut the expenses of the herbs. It's all about luck but for some reason I always end up with a nice juicy profit. I had 3x6000 cards last night and multiple 3000 ones. I will post screens next time.

Ok, another batch created and flipped - total 7640 card and out of those 3100 were created with Primal spirits. So total gold invested was 3100x2g + 4540x0.71g = 9423g
Cards were sold for 28453g so that gives me profit of 19030g but this time I also calculated regents I got from Daily CDs and profession hut an if I sell them on Ah that's another 3300g
So if I add that i made profit of 22330g or about 2.92g per card
This time I didnt wrote down exact number of each card that i got, only for epics and I got: 1x6000g, 2x3000g, and 1x1000g.
If you want I can post some screenshots that I took

Can it be done with 3x inscriptors at level 100 and 1 Bot farming 8h/day? for 40k profit / day?
Maybe my math is totally wrong, but I end up with some numbers close to that. It's all written by hand and it would be confusing to try to explain it here.

I'm not exactly sure what are you asking but if you are asking about inscription then with 3 you would be able to make "only" 200 cards per day, that's if you are only using War Paints you get from daily CD and hut.
If you are lucky enough with missions and 1 per day ( with 3 that an happen most of the times ) you can make more, but not much more.
The reason why I make so many is that most of my inscribers are at max level + they have 25 followers doing mission. So I get about 100 Primals each day, thats 200 war paints or additional 400 cards.
Depending on how many characters you have and what level they are you can get them inscription and hut.
I spend only 15 min per day doing daily orders + CDs on my characters. Most time i spent making cards and opening them, today it took me about 90min to open all 7640 cards. So weekly I invest about about 2 hours for daily CDs + huts and checking the AH on bank character for herbs, then some 10-15min milling herb, 1.5hours making cards and War Paints from Primal Spirits + 1.5 hours opening cards. So in total about 5 hours each week, and this week i make 20k+ gold or some 4k per hour. Thats not bad considering you vendor the stuff and you dont have to spend time checking the Ah for undercuts and so on.
1. Start, before any card was flipped

2. When I got the first epic card

3. When I sold the cards to make room for new batch

4. And last, when I sold all the cards

Now something that worked last 2 expansions and it will work in Legion if they dont change anything.
My next goal is to have 21 characters to max level with max inscription before Legion hits. If Blizzard doesnt change anything regarding professions and daily CDs that way I would be ready to put out trinkets on in few days and make insane profit. When WoD hit I had my 1st trinket ready for sale on a 4th day and make 80k pure profit when I sold it. Tbh I think that's worth investing time in, and we still have months before release.

Great data, there were some others posted on reddit within the past few weeks that opened even more than this.
This guy opened 20,000 cards https://www.reddit.com/r/woweconomy/...card_of_omens/
This guy opened 50,000 cards https://www.reddit.com/r/wow/comment...card_of_omens/

Thanks. I decided to see if that will works since I dont see the point in trying to sell upgrades anymore. Making 500-1000g for one upgrade is still great but after 12 months of making trinkets abd after that making upgrades and checking AH for undercuts every 30min I decided that it was enough.
