Making gold selling Darkmoon Prize Tickets / Mounts / Heirlooms

Hey.

Did a quick search of this and didn't find anything, so I figured I'd post this. So, earlier today I saw someone on our trade chat selling Darkmoon Faire mounts 150k ea (probably asking too much, imo) and started looking into how he was able to do that, as the mounts are BoP and the tickets are stuck in your currency tab. While searching for instructions on Ownedcore, I figured it out on my own - you can create an army of level 1's, do the dailies, receive a bunch of Darkmoon Game Prizes, and mail those off to your main / your buyer. They then open the boxes and receive the tickets hidden inside, allowing them to buy the mount / heirloom / whatever you're selling them.

I came up with this after stumbling across gippy's comment in http://www.ownedcore.com/forums/worl...res-money.html (Easy darkmoon faire mounts/prizes, requires money) which was one of the threads I found when searching for instructions on how to do the thing I'm describing here.

So, a quick 123 on how to do this, since what I wrote above turned out to be a bit of a mess:
1. Head to darkmoon faire
2. Do all the dailies there, but DO NOT open the boxes you receive as rewards
3. Repeat on other characters (& mail the boxes to your main or something)
(? yet to test ?) 4. create a level 1 & repeat steps 1-3. Delete the character and do the same over and over.

Hope you enjoy and/or that it isn't a repost - it's probably up SOMEWHERE since by the time I'm finishing this post I'm already seeing them advertise the mounts on two different realms -- yet to see anyone selling the heirlooms, though.

From what I can tell, mail them 180 boxes or however many that might possibly contain the tickets. Lets say each has a chance of 2-5, mail them the amount for 2, minus a couple and they get in all a spammed mailbox and 180 tickets.

Can confirm step 4 as I used an army of lvl 1's to get my heirloom bow..

from what I know they only contain 1 ticket, so just just mail the buyer 180 tickets

The boxes don't stack, so this would be a major pain in the ass. Still a good guide! +Rep if I can!

To add to this further, if you make sure you have Darkmoon Adventurer's Guide - Item - World of Warcraft

Having this item with you while you dungeon, raid or loot in BG's will allow you to loot any of the following items..

Allowing you to farm the quest items that give darkmoon tickets while the fair is out of town.. sold a few on the AH at decent prices..

This also reduces the size of items that need to be sent, hope this helps
