How To Flip Trade Goods For HUGE Profits. TSM Shopping Guide Buying CHEAP MATERIALS

This post will show you how to buy crafting materials at heavily discounted prices, so you can flip them later for big profits! This is what I've been doing for all of end of MOP and a little in WOD to make some hefty profits. Essentially this guide can be used to find any trade good item for very cheap prices, but just for example purposes we'll be using blackrock ore.. Since it is my current flipping project (for reasons I'll describe in a bit). So bookmark this page, it'll show you how to use TSM shopping as a mega tool for gathering cheap items that you can flip for profits later.

So what are the Benefits of learning this tactic?:

• You'll have an automated system of finding the cheapest trade goods for any item
• You can easily buy items out KNOWING you've only bought the best deals from the AH.
• The time saved is phenominal when compared to just searching the AH pages 1 by 1.
• You can find new trade goods the very second they get added to the AH.
• And finally, it requires no hard searching of your own. Just click a button and get all the deals you could want for flipping purposes.

But first, lets talk about our flipping target: Blackrock Ore.


[B]It's no secret that blackrock ore is bordering on useless. [/B The supply has heavily exceeded the demand in more ways than one. Most players who have taken up mining are concerned with the recent price drops - however the real concern is whether or not the price will rise.. (which it likely will).


Right now, on most popular servers the price of blackrock - is trending below 1g. Some servers (as of mine Moonguard US) have been trending as low as 25s. If your used to flipping for huge profits this should be the greenest flag you'll ever get. I have my doubts - but I'm 80% certain that the price of Blackrock WILL rise again. Through a hotfix, less players spending time on their garrisons, or new recipes introduced (that are no longer tied to a CD).

My money is that blizzard won't let the new current ore out-supply itself so early in the expansion.

Which is why I've invested over 20,000g in the stuff. All buying ore that has sunk below the 1g per piece margin.

Now the worst that can happen... is nothing happens. The price of the ORE will not go lower than 25s - you can count on that...
And in the best case scenario.. the price of the ore eventually rises as new patterns come in, OR as the garrison hype dies down a bit.

Just remember everyone is leveling right now. Everyone has a garrison which most likely has a mine. Once everyone starts to taper off with their garrisons and actually explore new content.. I have a strong feeling the price will take a profitable turn.

The way I see it... it's low risk. Extremely high reward.

A meager price to pay, for the profits down the road. Yes, It'll take some balls to invest. And yes it's all based profits based on a prediction. But if your reading this and are on 1 of those servers with very low ore prices... maybe you should consider some low risk investing. It's the safest bet by far.

(You can always sell it back for the 25s you bought it for)

Now for those of you who have no idea how to go about it.. here's what I'm doing to get all the cheapest ore! I'm using one of the most fastest and efficient methods possible. The TSM shopping Add-on. Knowing how to use this alone, can make you great profits - daily if you put some time into it.

This guide will walk you through setting it up so that finds cheap goods on autopilot. Again with this example we're going to use blackrock ore. Essentially you can use any item you wish to flip.

1) Setting up a TSM shopping operation that finds ore below 1g piece.

First you'll want to download tand set up the TSM app to get data for your tooltips in your game. (So we can easily see how much an item is worth).

2) While watching the video download these addons:
TSM-WoWuction*


TSM

TSM Auctioning

TSM Shopping

TSM AucitonDB

That should give you all the tools we need to get the cheapest ore around.

Now that the hard part is done, lets go ahead and make TSM find that ore for us.

First, we'll need to make a new group: You can do that by hitting typing "/TSM" ingame then clicking on the group tab. (Picture Below)



Now lets give a the group a name. (We'll tell it to find blackrock ore in a later step) We'll call it Blackrock Ore Buys. (Picture Below)

Once a name is given. It'll take you the operation screen. This is where we tell TSM under which price to buy the ores! Scroll down to where it says "shopping" (Picture below)
and hit "create shopping operation"



Now we'll have to name our shopping operation. Just to keep a bookmark of what we want to do. Lets call it "Buy Blackrock Ore" (Pic below)



Okay! Now here's the important parts. It'll ask you for the "maximum auction price". Basically TSM will find all ores below the value we enter here. Here you can enter a number of things. However the most simple way to go about it is to simply enter "1g" as shown in the screenshot below. (Since we're finding all ores below 1g).
Again change this option to hit your flipping needs. If your looking for all arcane crystals below 10g then go ahead and enter 10g in this area.

If your fancy you can also enter: 60% DBmarket or 60% WoWucitonmarket.. But only if your fancy...



After that's done - All we need to do is add blackrock ore to our group. This will allow TSM to find it in the AH. So to do that, close out your TSM window. Then reopen it with /TSM.

Click on groups, then on the items tab. The screenshot below will outline where you need to click in a 1, 2, 3 fashion.



Next click on the blackrock ore. The only way it'll appear in this menu is if you have it in your inventory! Click it and press the add button. This will add it to the group allowing TSM to find it in the AH. (Pic Below)



Almost done! Now head close out the TSM pane and head into the auction house. Click on the shopping tab below. Then click on TSM groups. Next the group we made "Blackrock Ore Buys" and finally search. (Pic below will show you in a 1, 2, 3, fashion).



And we're done! Now TSM will scan the auction house and get you all the blackrock ore priced under 1g. Alternatively, you can do this for any item you please. Just find a trade good and add it to the group. And you can add as many items as you like... you can even use this to find all the new trade goods below 1g a piece..

Now use your imagination with this. And even better, now that you have this setup, you'll never have to do it again. Just go to the AH under the shopping tab, hit TSM groups, then search.

And BAM. The cheapest trade goods right there for the pickin'.

Just remember this technique can be used for pretty much any item that could be possibly flipped. So if you don't agree with me about blackrock (there are many who don't) then feel free to try something else.

P.S Blackrock has risen from 25s to 2g today. Perhaps I can sell some of my 20k worth of ore already

Pretty much . Also Ive already resold an eighth of my massive blackrock. So people should definitely try this if flipping seems to be a workable outlet for them.

Yeah I misread and thoug he didnt have any on the inventory.

Prices on my server are 80s-1g20s . Mines got already nerfed, but Blizz said that it whould take time for the market to settle. Now, I dont recall gathering less resources on my mine, and each day more alts get close to develop theyr garrisons.
Also, the ores are tied to the professions that use them, and those seem all to bedaily. So guess the demand will not increase soon :/

Im hoping for another nerf to the mine xD.

I'm going to give this a whirl. I figured earlier when I heard they were nerfing Garrison mines this would happen but now I have the motivation to act on it. I'll invest 9k and see what comes of it.
