Ok first off hi, im Unholy[S]haman.
This is my first guide contribution to the site.
Please advise that in this guide there is some info that have/may have been posted on this site, but i am compiling this guide for several reasons.
*A guide that you do not have to down-load for those who don't have the cap etc to do it.
*So that all the gold making methods i have found most useful for my self are all in one thread.
*A guide that has actually had effort put into it.
*I DID NOT LEECH ANY OF THIS DATA AND COMPILED THIS GUIDE BY MY SELF.
---------
Alright first off. I am going to start with the more interesting and simple of gold making methods which i use daily and find very joyful.
Using Jewelcrafting as a steady income.
First off you need to be a 350+ JC, then go to the AH (Auction House) and buy a few stacks of adamantite ore:
Now i don't normally pay any more than 22-23g per stack (sometimes its worth asking in trade to buy in bulk and get a discount)
Now once you have bought a few stacks (i normally spend about 200gold at a time.
All Jewelcrafters should be used to the idea of prospecting ore by now, so what you need to do is prospect the ore. No on average you have a 1 in 4 chances of getting a rare, blue gem.
You are aiming to get:
Nightseye --- Thottbot World of Warcraft: Nightseye
Living Ruby --- Thottbot World of Warcraft: Living Ruby
Noble Topaz --- Thottbot World of Warcraft: Noble Topaz
Star of Elune --- Thottbot World of Warcraft: Star of Elune
Dawnstone --- Thottbot World of Warcraft: Dawnstone
Talasite --- Thottbot World of Warcraft: Talasite
In the links they give recommended prices you sell them for however prices may differ from server-to-server.
Now often this has to do with luck. I find 70% of the time i make between 50 and 300% profit. Sometimes you just get unlucky and get no blue gems that so ever.
However, do not despair for you will ALWAYS get green gems and adamantite powder. The green gems vendor for 5-6g a stack and can sell rather nicely on ah too. The powder vendors for 4g 50s a stack, i don't find it auctions that well.
Often i log on before going to work and just buy or bid on a few stacks. Then when i get home i prospect them and put them up on the AH. By the next morning i have to pages full of successful auctions =) enjoy. More comming soon! '
Also thanks to Alanthegun for suggesting that i include Jewecrafting leveling guides, well here are some really good ones i found.
This is a very simple guide but very comprehensive, it gives a great list of resources:
Jewelcrafting 300 Skill Guide - WoWWiki, the Warcraft wiki
Fairly good guide, nicely laid out:
WoW Jewelcrafting Guide - Burning Crusade
Really nice PDF guide to download:
http://atreid.free.fr/jewelcrafting11.pdf
*And the best for last:
- Ultimate Gold Guide
- then scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on members button
- it will prompt you with the "Click here to login"
- in the username field put in "new567"
- in the password field put in "new567" as well.
- (Thanks to wheatthinz for the user and login details that he posted a while ago. http://www.mmowned.com/forums/wow-gu...wow-guide.html.
Hope that helps, any more suggestions for me to add would be very useful and if you would be so kind as to PM me suggestions i might even rep you for the help =)
