Ouch Rohi, sorry to hear that, its happened a few times to me, spent 300g on ore, and got like 1 star of elune and 2 talasite. luckily had quite a few stacks of adamantite ore and green gems to vendor/AH. Well good luck if you try it again, iv been doing this for ever and it definately is a profit in the end,jsut sometimes you get bad days

Made around 150g doing this yesterday. Not bad for sitting around in Org. I plan on doing this every day from here on out. People CoD me stacks for 15-18g. And I make roughly 30g per stack, considering the difference this puts me at a 12g-15g profit per stack. so its hella profits.

If you are a miner and have time on your hands you could always farm adamantite ore in nagrand for maximized gold intake. You will not only be getting ore, but also eternium ore which sells for +-2g a stack as well as green and blue gems and some motes.

This is how I got my epic flying mount. Good thing my good friend is a JC, poor guy had to prospect a lot of ore, normally 6 stacks at a time at least, multiple times a day. I let him keep the addy powder and greens sometimes to be fair.
