Great grinding spot in Townlong 85-90

Hey guys, first guide here. But anyway, I've been using the Dooker dome method / Dread wastes island method to level and they're great and all (Dread wastes one is nerfed) but as i was flying around in boredom, I found a rare, around him was a bunch of mobs; (Shan'ze Obliterator - NPC - World of Warcraft) . 980k hp, 88 Elites, very easy to kill. They do a scourge strike ability, doesn't hit hard. As well there's a quest mob; The Blade - NPC - World of Warcraft 1.2m Hp, also easy to kill. On top of that, there's also a rare; Kah'tir - NPC - World of Warcraft.

Who?
The main mobs have an okay spawn rate, after killing them all, a few had spawned back. so if you don't mass pull, it will be sufficient, ( in my experiences so far ). The rare gives around 180-260k (Depends on level) the Obliterators give around 30-50 k (Level dependant). I haven't bothered with the quest mob, I assume he gives near to nothing. (Since most quest mobs dont)

There's about 20 Mobs that spawn, there's a GY nearby ( I believe ) and there's a few other rares in quick proximity, (yowler, lon the bull, etc)

Was a long way to run as a level 87 shaman with no friends that has multi-seat flying mount online.
I got there eventually and killing them was pretty easy, they hit hard so I have to use some cooldowns.

They only give 46k xp while the elite snakes in jade forest gives 29k and dies 2 times faster.

Don't get me wrong, the spot is good and imo better than questing.
I have parked my shaman there and just stand afk, killing 3 to 5 elites every once in a while when I tab into wow.

I find AEing down the stags in Jade forest gives more exp per hour than either the elite snakes, or those mobs, at least up to level 88. But this is probably a really good way to get exp once 88 is reached. Nice find

I've boosted numerous of friends in this spot and I read a post about it months ago, but I can't find it.

tried this spot today with my 89 pala. was around 8-10 mio xp/h rested with banner. think it was 144k xp/mob.

was tank specced but they hit like little people so i could pull 3-5 with no problems.
felt it it went slow maybe go there as dps and dont pull that large numbers?

dunno what questing gives/hour in dw at 89 though?



addition: tried today with a 90. i tagged he killed. was around 23-25mio xp/hour - was great!

yh spot still works fine best to get a 90 friend pref a lock boomie some really good aoe class pop banner down make sure you are not in a group and the guy who is 85 tag everything let the booster 1 shot everything faster kills faster re spawns faster xp :P can do a lvl a hour or something if done fast enough i guess
