    BM Hunter Grinding: My method

Not sure if it has been posted: But this is my method of madness

As you know Beast Master for a Hunter is the best way to lvl quick. Well, that is my thoughts atleast. I would recommend to use a pet that is high DPS, this will allow you to run smooth, I use a Raptor cause they are universal, High DPS and have great Armor. I have a Turtle and a Raptor for pets and my Raptors Armor is only about 200 differance from my turtle.
Anyway, the method of attack is to use Hunters Mark and thats so your pet knows where the tgt is, jk. Then you would want to get at max distance and start the attack with Concussion shot, followed up by Poison, the Arcane shot. At that time your tgt is pretty torn up. Once your tgt hits you, your pet will jump in and then you move on to the next tgt. So that means you would start the process all over again. By the time your second tgt hits you once, your pet should have finished off the first tgt and then will come to start the attack on the next one. And you just keep doing the same process over and over.

    Note:
-You want to go to a place that is very packed. Lower lvls, the barrens is a great place to start.

-This doesn't require all the best gear. Just a pretty good Bow or Gun, but I recommend bow. Less DPS than a Gun but it is alot faster and you need fast to get all shots off.

-If you kill animals and your a skinner. This is great, BUT you wont be grinding to lvl anymore since it takes your time to stop and skin. But this method is good for money making too.

-Also for this to run really smooth, recommend you attacking tgt's that are 1 to 2 lvl below you. This allows you to kill them faster. Some say you dont get alot of xp, well if you look at it, it is only about 20 or 40 max differance, but you will be moving so fast that you will be covering the differance anyway.

-Make sure you have some good bags if you plan on picking up, or dont worry about looting and just do the killing.

Like I stated, this is my method and I can move through lvl's pretty quick using this method. Hope this was some sort of help to anyone, or atleast it helped someone get there own method.

Is there a way to take rep away? What is this? "Use your class' abilities to repeatedly kill mobs in order to gain experience." Bows are less DPS than guns? Maybe I'm just a jerk, but... worst guide ever.

Re: BM Hunter Grinding: My method

Okay ShiShaw, what are you complaining about? I stated that this was my method of madness for grinding for leather and XP. This is also a guide to help those that are new to WOW, to give them an idea of how other people are grinding there way to the top and to help them create there own method. And yes your abilities are there to use, why would you not use them? There is a cool down and that is why you have to figure on how you want to use each ability.

Also yes I said that bows have a less DPS than guns, not all but that is what I have seen. Guns do more damage cause it takes them a little longer to fire. Bows are quicker so they dont do as much with 1 shot. I have tested both out and I have decided to go with bows. That is my choice and that is how I play. But this method works.

Re: BM Hunter Grinding: My method

I wouldn't recommend letting the mobs hit you instead of the pet. Perhaps it's good for lvl 34, but not when you get higher up in the levels. I'm BM all the way, and with the tactics you are using you should be either surv or MM.

Sending the pet on the enemy is the first thing you should do, not let it take over once the enemy is upon you. That will basically just cripple your speed in killing things.

The time it takes for you to run up to the corpse to loot you can use to send your pet for your next target for extra aggro so that you never have to worry about losing health while grinding.

Overall, for a BM guide, I give this 1.5 point out of 5. Sorry, but that's my honest opinion, I am however glad that you're here posting and trying to make a contribution.

    Gun, Bow or Crossbow.

It doesent matter, it all comes down the the DPS and stats.

Essentially a low speed weapon will cost less because it uses less arrows/bullets.

But when you want to really get those auto shots out when PVP'ing. I'd go for a faster weapon.
Soon to come, a fancy signature! =O

It figures someone who has a HUNTER writes such a bad guide. Good effort though, none the less.
