Mage macros (from a 2400 mage)

Hey guys here im going to show you some mage macros on how to get alot higher in arena and trust me they will help.

Spam-able Alter Time
/castsequence reset=1 Alter Time, adsfse

One shot macro
#showtooltip 14
/cancelaura invisibility
/Use 14
/cast icy veins
/cast blood fury

/stopcasting
/cast [target=focus] your spell

Alter Time / Pom / Ring of Frost (for double pom)
#showtooltip presence of mind
/cancelaura invisibility
/cast presence of mind
/cast ring of frost

Set up in gates macro
/castsequence reset=50 conjure refreshment table, conjure mana gem, summon water elemental, arcane brilliance, mage armor

Fire Triple Pyro
#showtooltip alter time
/cancelaura ice block
/use Malevolent Gladiator's Badge of Dominance
/castsequence reset=10 Alter Time, Pyroblast

Get out of Block Instantly
#showtooltip ice lance
/cancelaura ice block
/cast ice lance

Arena 1, 2, 3 Spells
/cast [target=arena1] counterspell

and FYI:

Idk how some of these macros will help you in crutch situations/battle, such as the Set up in Gates Macro. Imo, the only way to get high in arena is if you get carried or if you learn a class by yourself, make macros/keybinds etc yourself that fit your character stats etc.. but nice effort

From my experience (2.7k ish) I found macros to be a key point in progression

why do you do /use slot 14 (trinket slot) then have the trinket name instead?

Not to hate, but isn't there something missing there?

The alter time / pom /rof macro doesn't have alter time in it for instance, and the "1shot macro" seems to just be a generic increase damage macro - I somehow expected a frostorb/pom/AT/frostfire/AT/frostfire cast sequence sort of thing to be tossed in there aswell, and maby toss in mirror images aswell

But then I'm not a mage, maybe it's supposed to be like that xD

Good macros, very basic tho. Here's some of my own.

Dispell macro
#showtooltip
/cast [target=mouseover,help] Remove Curse; [help] Remove Curse; Remove Curse

Pet macro, summon and Freeze.
#showtooltip Freeze
/cast [nopet][target=pet, dead] Summon Water Elemental; Freeze

I'm also using /stopcasting macros for Blink, CS and Ice Block. Like this.

/use Blink

Also using polymorph mouseover macro with a /petpassive so my pet wont break it. Like this. Got one with focus that is about the same.
