Well written, I believe myself to be a Man of the Market in this case. I do not however, wish to sell gold for real life cash, only to be capped for bragging rights more or less! Would like to learn more as I've only made like 40k so far![]()
Well, this sounds very tempting, no doubt I like many others would volounterr, ive got 5 90s myself, ive made overall around a 300k spread across my chars since i started in tbc, which isnt such a big number and making some more 100.000s gold would be awesome, I'll pm you my skype, but im only playing on the EU realms, and im not botting![]()
Great guide, I look forward to reading your next ones.![]()
Wow this almost sounds too good to be true im extremely deticated by my realm is dead and running the AH would be hard for me only active players are 90s and 85s i own a guild and it has went throught about 230 people that have only played for 1 day then never logged in again the main reason i started it was for the cash flow perk haha it usually gets me 100 gold a week or so its nice great guide ill have to try this +rep
Life is defined by death
Hey Resin. A very detailed and easy to follow guide for people looking to make gold/real life money(including myself). I have a few characters(Shaman/Paladin) whom I shine with using any spec. I have always wanted to make gold but never found that 1 guide or person to help me. Only thing I miss is having the inspiration which I am sure someone like you could give. So I would be interested in taking your offer to teach me everything you wish to teach.
Let me know - skype - desibadboy

Hello Resin,
I have played World of Warcraft longer then I would like to admit. I have played on and of since the original release. With 5.2 I came back to play with my younger brother. After a few days of the new patch he called it quits. So after leveling a Monk when Pandaria I decided to level my main. (Who has been my main from the beginning) long story short I go to school three days a week and have time to invest into learning. I have spent too many years of my life working for this game. It's time to make this game work for me. I hope you can help me with that. This post is written from my phone. Which means I'm always near the auction house.
Thank you for your consideration.

Ill be adding people on skype in about twenty minutes to talk to them & figuring out who I should pick.
I am however open to helping everyone with questions!
Actually a very interesting post. I wonder how did it all start for you? I mean going for such lifestyle?
I was a hardcore raider than switched over to hardcore pvp, the whole time I was making the game pay for itself however wasn't as serious with farming gold. I was challenged to a gold cap race by a friend. We put a hypothetical bet on it of $100 thinking neither would ever reach it. I didn't even pay it no mind until he told me he was at 250k gold at the time I had about 25k. Seeing as he was serious and I was completely bored of the other scenes (pvp/pve) I switched over to devoting all my time to making gold.
To say the least I caught him and surpassed him. By the time I hit cap he was at about 490k if I remember correctly. I had all that gold & didn't know what to do with it. At that point I had never sold that much gold nor did I trust anyone handing over that amount of gold but the transactions went smooth minus 2-3 of them where I got scammed.
When I found out how much money I could make from it ....
Well it got serious.
I think that answers your question![]()
any further information you can give on how you go about selling the gold and how you deal with bans, and the frequency at which they occur, would be much appreciated.
I pay attention to trade a lot to people who get on dummy accounts and put up a skype to contact them on, building personal relationships are always good. However you can always find forums such as these (im on others as well) in which reputable members buy gold. As a last resort there is always the gold selling sites but you never get the best bang for your buck there. I never deal with people I dont know.
Personally I havent been banned since 2009. However I was also doing something completely stupid letting my bot run for 6 days while I was on vacation with an auto relog plugin going. Farming in the exact same place. Bans do happen though, it is just a part of the game which is why I suggested and almost demand people pick up another account for farming. Doing daily gold dumps like I just did 15 minutes ago prevents any loss in gold and worst case its $15 out the window which you can easily replace with a few hours of farming (but you would already have prior to being banned Im sure). You replace the dummy account & have another level 80 to start off the same place you just got banned from (minus maybe ten levels if you took your toon to 90).
Its just the cost of playing on the dark side.
But to answer your question, Ive been banned once & shrug it off.
I run everything manually 98% of the time so I dont really worry about it.
I am interested in this one. When I look at my server AH (Stormscale EU - Horde), it feels like there is everything and large quantities of everything. What should I look for to farm? Is it specific mats or it just means I chose an instance and run it till my fingers get blue?Thats right, after you post up your first sack of loot you head directly back to farming
Lol.
NO.
You always do your research before you farm. You need to take the time, and I do mean time to decide what is worth it on your specific realm. Items that have low supply to demand, which opens the door for you over charging and getting away with it. Items that sell out quickly even with a high demand, items that are required to progress through certain professions, big ticket items or rare items that can be farmed.
You dont just blindly farm anything, that in itself is a waste of time / gold / money.![]()
Than I guess I started in a wrong server. AH seems to be flooded with everything. If there is atleast little demand on any specific material, it will get flooded within next few hours, and price will go down 2-3 times in that time. What sells are vanity stuff, but farming them is general waste of time, drop is purely luck based on those. I am monitoring market for pigments/enchanting materials, and both of those have really high prices, but when I tried that last time, those materials just stood there in market with those high prices and simply no one bought them. I allready have those 6-8k~ pocket money I can spend, but it prices changes like women emotions here, so I just cant work it out.
