Making Gold With Cataclysm Mats

Since my account was recently banned for no reason, I thought I'd share what I did to make gold. Please excuse my very boring thread.


For this you're going to need:
Jewelcrafting - 500
Enchanting - 500
Mining - 500 - optional

What you'll be doing is making rings and necks, and then simply disenchanting them to sell the dust and essences.

The current price of [Elementium Ore] on my server was around 47g per stack.
But the current price of [Pyrite Ore] was about 10g per stack.
But since I had a miner, I decided I would just set up a bot to farm Uldum all night. Theres very little competition. I could get plenty of ore doing this.

So after you get the Ore, you would have to start prospecting it, which is long and boring, so I would recommend using a key presser or bot.
You'll notice you will be getting uncommon and rare gems. You'll be using both.

After you have prospected all the Elementium and Pyrite, you'll have to start making rings and necks.
Here is what you'll make with each gem:

Alicite - Alicite Pendant 
Nightstone - Nighstone Choker
Hessonite - Hessonite Band
Jasper - Jasper Ring
For the Zephryrite, you can either vendor them, AH them and hope they sell, or transmute them to make an Ocean Sapphire.
Carnelian - Carnelian Spikes (fist weapon)

After you've created all of that, you'll then have to disenchant it all.
The rings and necks usually get [Hypnotic Dust], and the [Carnelian Spikes] get [Lesser Celestial Essence].
The main thing you want is [Hypnotic Dust]. Just right click the [Lesser Celestial Essence] to make [Greater Celestial Essence].
And that's it for Enchanting. Just put everything up on the Auction House. I sell my dust anywhere between 250g - 300g. It always sells, its needed to level Enchanting. The [Greater Celestial Essence] usually sells for 90g per stack.

Now, for the rare gems. You'll need one of each to make [The Perforator], a total of 6 gems to make one weapon. This weapon vendors for 24g, you can simply craft a bunch, and then vendor them to make some easy gold.
You can also look at the AH, any gem under 4 gold is profit. 3 gold is ideal. You can just buy all the cheap gems and make more weapons, making an even greater profit.
The gems are:

Green Emerald
Ocean Sapphire
Inferno Ruby
Amberjewel
Ember Topaz
Demonseye

Of course, you can sell all the Volatiles you get from farming in Uldum, as they usually sell for 100g for a stack of 10.

I've been using this method to make all my gold.

On my server it isn't worth it making:
Nightstone - Nighstone Choker
Hessonite - Hessonite Band

because one of em sells for like 30 gold+

What you used to do with those 2 in cata to make gold with, only difference being that the gems used to also make a bit of income
