How To Find Private Buyers for herbs/ore

Now this is pretty much common sense so I apologize if it's too obvious.

But if your realm is like mine, it's extremely hard to find private buyers for raw materials such as herbs, even in /2. Ore seems to sell a lot better, but I don't have any free professions to enter that part of the market yet.

So an alternate way to find private buyers than advertising in /2 is this:

-Go to the AH

-Go to Consumable > Flask

-Look at the names of the sellers of the MoP flasks. More often than not, alot of the flasks will be sold by a small selection of names.

-Add them and /w them and offer them herbs for a good price (better to sell for a little than not sell at all)

-Hope they want to buy. Usually people like this want to buy regularly and quite a lot of stacks!


Now I'm guessing you can do the same for selling ore, except going into the 'gems' section and look for JC's that prospect ore.

On Tich alliance I look for people selling lots of herbs... and none really exist even when paying almost market price for bulk.

I'll share what works for me, it's actually more effective in my experience.

I go look for the people selling multiple DMF decks/trinkets. These people usually have an army of scribes, and burn through lots of herbs. To take it a step further, if you are willing to sell stacks below the gold value of vendoring the shoulder enchants (this is about 30g), some people will buy as many stacks as you can supply. I sell about 2000 stacks a month and could do more if I ran my bot longer.
