Leveling characters with archaeology in 5.0.4

If you hate leveling alts (like I do) and want to get tol'vir mount & pet (like I do) - lvl your alt with archaeology!

In 5.0.4. you can find 6 fragment containers (it used to be 3). I've tried this today on my 83lvl alt and each digsite neted me 5% exp needed for next level. I haven't solved any archy projects yet, but I believe it'll make it even more worth the trouble.

Beauty in this is you don't have to quest YET AGAIN in cata zones, you can get the elusive pet & mount and all you really need is alt with flying

I know it's not IMBA or what not, but maybe it'll help someone getting alts ready for MoP. Cheers.

What I think hes trying to say is it got increased so its a much better way to level than what it was and get the rare mounts / pets.

Aye - by the time I've increased my Archaeology to 50 points (and digs stopped increasing the skill) I've gained about half of lvl 84. Not bad, methinks

This might work well, if not for one thing. We won´t be able to fly around in Pandaland until we reach level 90... But if you want to run around on a groundmount doing Archaeology to level up, feel free to do so!
P.S. I absolutely hate arch, so i haven´t touched it at all. So i´m not sure if you can do lvl 85 stuff in Cata zones to gain experience, in that case it might be nice to do it to atleast get to level 86.

*Edit* Aaaaand now i noticed this was 5.0.4, not for MoP as i read it So thought it was past lvl 85, which ain´t the case. Still, would be interesting to find out if you could do lvl 85 archa to level up to 86.

Solves don't give any exp, only digging does so I doubt it'll be of much help reaching lvl 90...

I like arch, it's kinda relaxing for me, like fishing. A break from raiding/pvping/achi-hunting thingies

Anybody tested it. Mean questing vs this? Asking for my monk to chose best/fastest lvling method.

Just generally doing Archaeology since they have increased the amount of times you can dig in one zone now.
