Appear Offline on Real-ID

Hello guys, this is a step by step guide made by me, on how to appear as offline towards all your friends/guildies/whoever you might have on Real-ID. THIS DOES ONLY WORK FOR WORLD OF WARCRAFT. IT DOES NOT WORK FOR DIABLO 3!!!

Q: But why would i even want to appear offline, when im online in WoW. And for who would this be useful towards?
A: Appearing as offline on Real-ID are very useful for the people there are botting, since they obviously want the least amount of attention as possible.
Perhaps you don't want your friendlist to know that you are online because of numerous reasons; You wanna skip a raid but yet you want to play. It could be that you just want some lone time etc. Who knows

Anyways here is a step by step guide (Start from the top, and work your way towards the buttom):

-Start WoW and Log IN. Once you are at your character selection screen, procceed to the next step. It is important that you get to the character selection screen, before disabling real id, since you won't be able to log in, if you disabled it prior to you are logged in.

-Go to your firewall. Click start -> search -> type in "Windows Firewall"

-Here you wanna create an "Outbound Rule"

-You wanna make it a port rule

-The port you wanna make some fanzy shizzle with are port #1119 TCP. You wanna block this Port.

Keep clicking next if you're on windows firewall client, and just click finish.

Haven't tested @ diablo3.

Havent tried yet but what do you do to enable Real ID again?

You remove it.
I got a nifty program for doing both(enabling and disabling) for US and EU (CREDIT GOES TO HOTPOCKETS)
Guide is simple:
1. Log in
2. Press 1, 2 or 3 in the tool
3. Log into your character
4. disable it when you want to change realm/ want to log back in after a DC etc.
Just make sure you enable your firewall.

Problem with D3 is that it's an always online game, you can't disable real ID there because they use it for match-making and making your game.

I have a 'non real life' friend on my list who chats to me when I'm botting and it looks suspicious. (Doesn't know I do it)
