    Get more gear in LFR!!!

Hello guys, it's been a while since I last contributed but here's my chance again!

This is basically common sense but I think that most of the people doesn't know about it.

This is the "guide" that will help you get more loot in LFR groups.

Let's take for example an enhancement shaman:

    You join the raid group and kill Morchok, the first boss in Dragon Soul;
he drops Seal of Primordial Shadow, the ring that is useful for enhancement shamans. You roll need on it and win the roll. Now you already used your role bonus and you'll have less + role bonus on your next need roll.

Next step is, you leave the raid, and wait your 30 minutes of debuff. You join another raid (Make sure it's 0/8 raid). You kill Morchok again and of course you cannot roll on anything. That way you save your roll bonus, but other people with which you might share the tier parts or the type of armor will roll need and use their role bonus.

So on the next boss, let's say Warlord Zon'ozz, the item drops that you need as well as the guy that already needed the item on the first boss. You're roll bonus will be greater then his/hers. This will give you bigger chances of winning the item you need.

Keep doing every time you use your roll bonus and you'll, hopefully get more items.

This tactic is pretty much time consuming but if you really care that much about your PvE gear it's very helpful.

I hope I helped someone with this common sense reminder.

If you like it +rep me please I'd appriciate it!

Doesnt work this way. you get +100 to your roll for your role bonus, and thats it. there is no stacking bonus to rolls. there was talk by some random in genral chat official forums about wanting to see a system like this added, but as of now, it doesnt exist.

I don't believe this is a feature in the current LFR system. All +roll bonuses are static.

Asking for rep is an easy way to get an infraction around here.

What he's trying to say is like this: when you get an item YOU want and you roll need, you will roll random number + 100(the first time you roll need) so if you want the bonus again you will need to leave and find a NEW raid group.

From what I understand is that the roll bonus is linked to the raid group and once it has been used it cannot be used again in that group. If you leave the raid group and join another you should, theoretically, have another bonus to use in the new raid group.

    Thanks for this guide

It's actually just a "role" bonus, not a roll bonus. It will only give a bonus to your roll if you are the correct role for the gear, it doesn't go away and remains in effect for the duration of the run so long as you roll on gear suited for your spec.

The bonus is not related to it being your first time rolling. It is related to you rolling for a piece of gear that suits your role/spec. If a ret paladin rolls on a healing item on Morchok, they will not get the bonus, but they will if they roll on a strength dps item from Yor'sahj. They could then proceed to roll on a strength dps item from Hagara and will still get the bonus with that same group, because the +100 is only added for loot that suits your role.

That does not exist. You kill a Boss, he drops loot for you, you gain rollbonus.
You kill the next boss and another item drops for you - you roll need and you get the rollbonus again.
    Thats it

Its not called a "Roll" bonus. Its RolE bonus. So if you need on tank items while being a tank in the group THEN you get the +100. If you roll for dps gear as tank. Then you dont. Its that simple and no : leaving+requeue will change this.

This exactly, the role bonus isn't based on leaving and re-entering a raid/dungeon, it's always there. It's to ensure healers don't ninja roll on gear that casters would need, melee don't ninja tank gear, vice versa, etc etc.

We appreciate people trying to contribute to the forums but PLEASE check your facts and actually make SURE that it works before posting. We can tell you didn't even try your "guide" before posting it because it doesn't actually work.
