Ring of Blood Tactic- Pissing Off the Opposite Faction

Easy tactic you can used especially if your a tank or high dps that can gain threat easily on the Boss in Ring of Blood Twilight Highlands.

1.When the other faction starts fight -->Gain threat on Boss and maintain.

    2. Kite Boss west to the entrance of the Arena where the Arch is.

    3. Boss despawns at the entrance.

    4. If possible, rinse and repeat to really piss off your opposing faction and delaying their achievement.

Tested 3x and worked every time on my 85 Blood DK.

    Enjoy!

More of a guide than an exploit. And although its fun to piss off the opposing faction, its also easy to just kill them as well

Ok, a tactic, exploit or guide...the powers that BE can move it over to guides. And I shared it since I did not see a post, that counts!

While this is not intended by Blizzard.... This is considered griefing and a very easy way to get yourself a suspension or possibly a ban.

Ignore him all you want, it's still true. I got a 3hr ban for repeatedly doing it. many many times. Just because you don't like it, doesn't mean it isn't true.

While you are correct that ganking and camping are part of PvP... But pulling an NPC away from a group when they are powerless to stop you? Now if it flagged you when you pulled it off of them then sure... that would not be griefing and Blizz would have no reason to ban you as they would have a way to stop it... Just like with camping... The way to stop it is either unflag or if you are on a PvP server then you need to wait until they lose interest or get away... You have options.

But you are doing something that they are unable to prevent you from doing, which is interfering with their groups ability to complete the quest... Which again is griefing and Blizz does care about it and they will ban/suspend you.

The above is correct, aggroing a mob for a quest chain, and pulling it to the maximum leash to have it despawn and reset the event is not an exploit. That is a griefing guide.

Leash mechanics have been in the game for quite some time and it's def not an exploit unless there is some "tangible" Gain. not gain in epeen, but valuable spell gain, stats, gold, items.... this does none of that and is classified as griefing the enemy players because you;ve got nothing better to do.

Thank you for the guide, it has been moved where it should be.

Think before you post. You can only get smarter by playing a smarter opponent.
