Solo farm Firelands trash as a Hunter (Working)

Obviously in guides because it isn't really an exploit.
Had previously cleared 6/7 prior to doing this so the corehounds and molten lords weren't respawning. Pretty much everything left in the instance at that point is snareable. If your going to kite around in circles you will need to spec Concussive barrage and pref. Bombardment. If using the kill one and FD method, any spec will do. So far the Hell Hounds have dropped the most epics for me, so they are probably your best bet. Made a quick video showing it a bit better.

I can't see them nerfing it because soloing them is quite out of the ordinary. Have fun.

I've been solo'ing the turtles and scorpions as I find the hell hounds a bit more difficult but no epix, 2 blues and 2 greens over around a 200 sample size. Anybody had any drops off scorpions/turtles since last night? Or am I super unlucky?

Safe to say the droprates have been heavily nerfed.

I might be wrong or just lucky/unlucky but what i noticed is that epic drop rate increases when 1st boss spawns ( comes ). I did like 40+ trash clears and noticed a pattern. In most cases im lucky if i see 1-2 epic drops before the bos comes but when he is there i seen 3-4 drop in 2-3x less mobs..

how do you kill mobs when the molten giant is still alive?(the 1st i mean) and if u kill it, how do you kill it in solo??

Tip: I did this for the whole last week and all I got was an epic Receipe. AFAIK the droprate of epics is doubled in 25 man version. So I tried the Scorpion packs in 25 man. Works just as well. Didn't get an epic either, but well... the chance is higher... just saying ^^
