How to Solo Altarius, vortex pinacle - mount farm.

hello everyone, this is my first contribution after years of "leeching"
so i figured i'd make a movie right of the bat.

im quite unlucky in this vid, with the shifting winds, a normal kill takes about 2 minutes.

i don't know which classes that can do this, i know that one of the reasons we Shadow priests can do it, is because of our tallent "Masochism",

Attempted on my boomy, unfortunately having no fast effective heal or bubble hurts :/ he does too much damage for me to heal through even teleporting away to try heal up. Gave it a few attempts but never got him below 60%

are you dieing because you are oom?
what you can do is make a click sequence, add 3 different locations on his platform forming a large triangle, then make macroes for each one of them, should be able to switch between them switfly :P

i think most of the classes have what it takes to do this, just need to sort out and find a new way do beat the mechanics.

Yes, boomy heals are just too weak and slow to out heal it :/

This leecher is gon try this out. Got the mount on my fire mage from stonecore via kiting it around /w Speedhack. Hopefully I might get some success on my paladin. Hes a tank n is fairly geared (160k /w self buffs)

Will update my post after I've given it a try.

Might take 40-70 mins before I edit, going to go fix some stuff first.


Edit: Not going to try, wow infinity isnt updated and by the looks of it, its not going to get anytime soon. Thanks for sharing though.

You could do this... or roll a blood dk.

Yeah i've done it as a blood DK, just make sure to have decent gear if anybody decides to try it. it will take a while because the trash there is really annoying and sometimes CDs have to be used (like the first pack or the pack right before 2nd boss) but there shouldn't be any problems. if you are having problems, bring a healer or DPS friend and you can just faceroll through. The first boss is also very annoying so be sure to have all your CDs and use AMS repeatedly when fighting him because of his lightning bolt spam. (you can't DS him because he is protected by a wall of tornadoes)
