Here it is:
Hello *******,
I present to u, The Ultimate Guide To Zul'Aman (Patch 4.1.0). In this guide I'm going to teach u all of the tactics for the bosses in Zul'Aman, wether you're an tank, healer or a DPS. I will also tell you what each boss drops.
Boss Order:
#1: Akil'zon <Eagle Avatar>
#2: Nalorakk <Bear Avatar>
#3: Jan'alai <Dragonhawk Avatar>
#4: Halazzi <Lynx Avatar>
#5: Hex Lord Malacrass
#6: Daakara
#1: Akil'zon <Eagle Avatar>
Tactics: The tank in your group will need to tank the boss anywhere on the platform (preferably middle). Meanwhile your group is fighting the boss he will call in "Amani Kidnapper"'s these are birds that will pick up one player in your group. You will need to kill this bird as fast as possible.
One time during the encounter the boss will call upon a "Lightning Storm" on a random player in your group. This player will be thrown up and stopped into the air with lightning flying around him/her, everybody in your group needs to stand UNDERNEATH this person or they will take an enourmous(spelling?) amount of damage.
#2: Nalorakk <Bear Avatar>
Tactics: On Phase 1 this boss will cast Brutal Strike on the tank. This spell will inflict 78-82k damage, the tank will need quick healing (depending on how much he's total HP is). Also Nalorakk will use "Surge" (an kind of charge) on the player with most distance from the boss. This will inflict 34-35k damage. A good way to survive this best is having an ranged DPS and a healer going back and forward sharing the damage. At phase 2 (after 3 Surges if I'm correct) he will turn into a bear. This is mostly tank & spank, he will thought cast Deafening Roar which silences the party for 2 seconds.
#3: Jan'alai <Dragonhawk Avatar>
Tactics: This boss will summon 2 "Amani Hatchers". What u have to here is kill one of them, only one. Let the other hatch the dragonhawks. When he has hatched them kill him immediately. If u kill both before they hatch any dragonhawk's they will just respawn again. If u don't, then it will take some time before the other 2 spawns (will spawn in total 4 of them during the whole encounter). Other than that all u have to do is avoid the "Flame Breath" and the "Flame Bombs".
#4: Halazzi <Lynx Avatar>
Tactics: In the troll phase, Halazzi drops Water Totems which buffs the boss with Refreshing Stream(+5% mana & hp every 2 sec). This totem can be killed; but don't! Instead, move all of your group members except the tank into the green circle and they will instead receive the buff! He also casts Enrage.
At 66% and 33%, Halazzi will summon Spirit of the Lynx and heal to 100%. As the Spirit of the Lynx does not have traditional aggro and will attack random players. It will also cast Shred Armor and Lynx Flurry which can be especially rough on cloth dps. Depending on your group composition, DPS can switch to kill the Corrupted Lightning Totem before it does extreme amounts of damage, once the Spirit of the Lynx has died, the DPS will go back to Halazzi. Or if you have strong healing and have chosen to keep the Water Totems up, ignore the Spirit of the Lynx and stay on the boss. Eventually, the Spirit of the Lynx will despawn and Halazzi turn normal again.
#5: Hex Lord Malacrass
Tactics: Hex Lord Malacrass is flanked by two random adds, which can be CCed and ignored for the duration of the encounter.
Depending on the two adds, you can CC them or interrupt their abilities. These adds will be drawn from a pool of: Alyson Antille(Humanoid), Darkheart(Undead), Fenstalker(Elemental), Gazakroth(Demon), Koragg(Undead), Lord Raadan(Dragonkin), Slither(Beast), and Thurg(Humanoid).
He will alternate between hurling Spirit Bolts at the party, a fairly strong AOE, and channeling Siphon Soul. As the fight continues, you will get high stacks of Drain Power(increased damage taken on you and reducing damage done to Malacrass), making Malacrass harder to kill.
Use common sense when dealing with all of the temporary player abilities. Interrupt heals, run away from cleaves, and remove debuffs.
He also randomly casts soul drain on a raid member, absorbing the character's abilities and amplifying their power.
#6: Daakara
Tactics: In the first phase, Daakara casts Whirlwind and Grievous Throw(Grievous Throw is only removed when the target is fully healed). Melee dps that eat a whirlwind while afflicted with Grievous Throw may find themselves dead quickly. At 80% and 40%, Daakara transforms into two of the four remaining avatars at random.
In Shape of the Eagle, Daakara creates an Energy Storm and casts Summon Cyclone that players must dodge. Players that run into cyclones will be hit by Zap. Be sure to kill the Lightning Totem to prevent additional damage from going out. As part of Energy Storm all spells cast will deal damage to the caster--healers must be smart about deciding when to heal, as they will take additional damage when doing so.
In Shape of the Bear, Daakara casts Creeping Paralysis which can be followed up with a nasty Surge, as well as Nearly Overpowered Blow on the tank. b]Creeping Paralysis[/b] and the stun can both be dispelled.
In Shape of the Dragonhawk, Daakara creates Column of Fire and periodically casts Flame Whirl and Flame Breath. All players must remain alert and constantly avoid fire.
In Shape of the Lynx, Daakara spawns two adds that can quickly destroy a player if they are not killed quickly, between Lynx Rush and Claw Rage. The tank should taunt during Claw Rage to split the damage taken.
