How to make 5-12k Gold each night with Gatherbuddy!

Hello MMOwned, it has been a long time since I last contributed.
This guide is a help to NEW or NEWBIE botters!

If you are an experienced botter, you are free to leave now

If not, read on!

First I would like to tell you WHY I made this guide that ½ of you are gonna flame eventho I told you it wasn't aimed at you.
When I started botting, no one cared to tell me how I could go about anything with this bot, the only info I had, was what stood in the forums, under the profile I looked at. No one cared to tell me what was a good thing to do, or wanted to share their knowledge with me, because they were scared I would ruin their market.
1½ years later, Im standing here, offering my selftought knowledge to all the newbies, that have just stared botting, or is wondering if they should.


This guide is about is how I make atleast 5.000 gold per night with Gatherbuddy2!

Before we start, here are some quick-to-read-details:

• I farm in Uldum - Use what ever profile you can find, I get the same profit from them all
• I do not log out when bags are full, I mail it to an Alt instead
• I farm for about 7 Hours
• I use a lvl 85 Deathknight with lowest Tier 85 PvP gear, and sucky weapon
• My bot NEVER dies
• I make atleast 12k every night, by having a private buyer for my mats
• You can make atleast 5k, doing a half assed job!

So the first thing I did, was make a Deathknight, I leveled him to lvl 85 with Honorbuddy, when he hit lvl 85, I sent him to do Battlegrounds until he had some descent gear. He now flys around with 97k HP and can take on any of the mobs that he faces. So he never dies!

Now, how do I make that much money in one night?
First of all you should know how I can hit 12k for a night. I do this by having a private buyer for most of my stuff, by barking into trade chat even know and then, you will catch up with someone, that is eventually gonna be your only buyer.

This guide is not about a private buyer tho. I often vendor 90% of what I gather, making this extremely easy money.

So, first of all my DK has these professions:

• Mining
• Jewelcrafting

Some people farm herbs too, but by having jewelcrafting, you will have less to do with AH, which in the end saves you alot of time.
My Deathknight has Jewelcrafting, so he can prospect all the ores he gathers in one night. In one night he often gathers about 2500 ore on my server. And if you prospect and sell every single gem, you will get (2500/20)x4x5 = 2500g - I use the number 4, as I like to calculate negatively, this way I can only be positively surprised.
The above calculation, also means that you will get about 20g MINIMUM for every stack of Elementium Ore.

So this way I am bound to get ATLEAST 2500g every night! Now the rest of the things you have gathered is gonna make up the other half!
When you mine, you also collect 3 types of Volatiles:

• Volatile Fire
• Volatile Earth
• Volatile Water

These volatiles, sell extremely quick, and for good money too!
I have found that posting all volatiles in stacks of 5, just 1 copper below the lowest on AH in the morning, will end up in getting them all sold at the end of the day. I never get any Volatiles back, even tho theres a stiff competition on my server. And my servers economy is kinda dead...
Usually I gather about 100x of each volatile, and each 5 stack sell for about 50g.
This means I am bound to get atleast (300/5)*50 = 3000g, in one nights farming.
Although I usually get about 380 volatile, but lets stay negative, that way you'll just end up happier xD

Additionally, if you don't prospect your Pyrite ore, which you can expect to gather atleast 100x Ore of. Then you can net about 500g on those too. These are not a part of my calculations tho.

So to sum up, all the hard-to-sell-materials, are prospected and vendored for a fair profit! The rest, are easily sold on AH, without having to repost them every hour.
Sum of one nights botting:

• 2,500g (from Elementium Prospecting)
• 3,000g (Selling volatiles on AH)

Equals to 5,500g in one night
And this is by following the easy method!

I recon you find a private buyer and double your profits!

Finale notes:
I have botted for gold for about 1 year now, and I have had great succes with it, and never been banned, suspended or anything. There was only one time where a player caught me, and that was because I used a sucky profile with Honorbuddy!

By the way, i have learned: you ALLWAYS get cought botting sooner or later.


And every thing Blizzard does is to make a little extra money.
All updates and patches will add more things you HAVE to do wich will take more time and give them more subscribers.
That's a easy method for them.
The only thing they need to reach the top is to get rid of the people that is against this.

I have botted for over 2 years now, and I have never been caught... You only get caught when you do stupid stuff Like bot 24/7

As AH is heavily logged and watched over, I am not a fan of dumping so big loads onto it, and if you are on a sucky server like me, you are far from guaranteed that your stock will sell in one day!

Oh how stupid I feel. I wouldn't call myself a newb botter, but no where near a proffesional botter, either. My botter is a Herber/Miner (Have a maxed JC alt too), the herbs seem to sell in hours, however many I put up, but my ore just builds and builds, until now, where I have 6 guild bank tabs full of Elementium BARS. The ores just wern't selling, so I smelted them all (forgot all about prospecting, doh!), will be sure to use this idea next time, thanks and +rep!
