Resell cata 77-79 BoE's, MASSIVE PROFIT!!

Some people (1% of the WoW community?) might not know about this, some of the cata BoE's can be equipped at level 77.

Some people are lazy (99% of the WoW community?), so what do they do with the green BoE's that they will get from leveling in Hyjal/Vashj'ir/Uldum? Well, they probably want to get rid of it fast, fast, fast! They post it on the AH for a small amount of gold.

Some people are clever (like me ), so they buy the cata BoE's up that is going for 15-40g and resell them for a bigger amount of gold.

So you see that I'm tired and when I'm tired I like to write stuff, useless stuff.

So to summ it all up:

1. Go to the auction house.
2. Search for cloth/leather/mail/plate gear, all of them! In the level range of 77-79.
3. Check so they are atleast ilvl 272 or higher (it's a cata item then, duh!).
4. Buy the cheap ones, those at 0g-60g.
5. Resell them for a higher amount 100g-150g, yeah, you name it!

So obviously, this also works for weapons, same method but with the weapons tab at the auction house!

Its not just buy low sell high. The point he's trying to make is that when you get cata gear, its a massive upgrade to the gear you have at that point. People pay big money for massive stat upgrades, while alot of people sell them low. When I was leveling from 70 to 85, I was like wtf when I saw the massive stats upgrade I got from cata gear.

Guys, stop being stupid jerks, this is actually an awesome tip, people who level new characters with bots etc will need good gear for 68+ since they dont have the appropriate gear for it, since they have made much gold from botting they will buy anything neccesary to continue leveling

This is actually a good way to make money? Why would I know that? Because I actually dished out around 1200g to get 3-4 leather gear for my Rogue at 78-79. Why did I do this? So I wouldn't get wtfpwned by idiots with 70k and more HP in BGs. People buy this gear and it can be sold for profit.

I spent 400g on a level 78 cata gun alone as there was none available for weeks. It was worth it though, my level 79 survival hunter got 50-70 killing blows consistently in AVs because of it. Then I found the same gun from the turtle quest in hyjal and sold it for 500g and it got snapped really quickly. Some people are that lazy to check on wowhead,me included =p

This indeed works, I've paid for my Paladin's BoE-s, and sold some too (I bought them for 50-70g for my paladin, and sold other BoEs for 150-250g).
The lower the itemlevel is, the more it worths (lvl77 is around 200-300g+ while lvl79 is at 50g).

I was doing it and was very successful, and now I'm doing it on a level 1 bank alt and making about 1,000 gold / day with it. Great tip. I own 77-79 armor

have been doing this for a while.. or.. since cata started tbh. Earned alot of gold on it, and now I hate you for spoiling my income :P
Though yes, This is a great way to get gold. but it also leads to the twinking part everybody hates. Not only do people buy it to level easier. They buy it to massivly pwn in the 75-79 bg's. Have done this on all my toons with full cata items (ofc rare quality jasper rings and the alicite necklace and items from BRC and Throne of the tides (both drop level 78 or 79 blues)) You can really kick some ass in that gear. and a druid with the BoE staff from BRC.. I belive that one can even get the landslide enchant. Hope anyone will find this usefull aswell.
