So what do u do with ur Zephyrite. I used to trasmute and get ocean Sapphire but price of blue gems is too low now, so it is not worth it... So u can make Rigid Zephyrite or any other green quality gem and sell it to vendor for 9 gold.
Got 200 Sephyrite. Made gems and sold it to vendor for 9 g each. 200x9=1800. Good gold if u ask me

^this. dont vendor blue, purple und green (juwedaily). red for disentchant mats. orange is always needed in the ah, so only usefull to but cut vendor is yellow

Um I've never seen the gems sell for 50g, even if they're the daily cut gems.

You should be able to auction JC Daily gems for at least 25g per piece, preferably in 3er stacks, Alicite and some other "bad" colors are on the AH often for less than 9g, those might be worth being cut and vendored.

You're lucky. The price of Zeph is 20-25on average on my server and hits 50 gold when it peaks as the JC daily. I still do this with WotLK gems however as they're sometimes listed far below the cut and perfect cut prices.
