Transmute master (Scam) for more gold

People on my sever are buying the Truegold CD for 100-150g a pop. Usually takes 1/2 mins advertising in trade. I never let on that my specialisation is Transmute mastery, however playing the averages you could offer to work for 200-300g and they keep all procs. This is a scam however, playing by word the CD only says 1 bar so you can probably get away with it were a GM involved.

However, how I like to play it, let them know my location (usually VoS AH abusing the weak). Don't let them party up etc etc they tend to QQ if in a party (Say your in a LFG que or w/e). Do the transmute for them for 100g and keep any x2, x3, x4 or x5 proc. I tend to sell the proc's to the player at 100g cheaper than the AH; As there probably trying to craft to make a fast buck, fact is your making a faster one.

With the 100g CD cost safe the proc usually gives 600g extra per bar. Playing the averages your in to make gold if you can't be bothered getting the mats together yourself while having a buyer usually for any proc's at hand.

I've been rather lucky with several x5 proc's and am making lots more gold than my elixer master alchemist.

Hope this helps you fellow lazy people make a fast buck.

I guess it shouldn't be in Guide section. Also I would never trade mats for Truegold (or any other xmute item) with Transumte master alchemist without beeing in a party with him.

Yeah, I'm sure the more savvy gold makers are on to this already! But had a traul through the guides section while the weekly maintenance was on and didn't find note of it. As for the GMs they can't do anything about it unless you mention your a transmute master and agree to hand over procs. Same works for Gem transmutes too however with the high costs of mats there aren't many people wanting your services unless you hand over the procs .

This is a gold making guide, if you show intent to buy a CD and am not in a party then if they run away with your mats that is a scam a GM can take action over. So don't worry there! Looking on the other side of the fence always party up with a alchy to demand those procs! Though as stated there not entitled to unless you specify before you purchase the CD.

Scams aren't allowed here, but i'd say this isn't necessarily a scam. If they don't specify that they get all bars, that's their own fault.

Does it now show how many you create in the log? I created 2 the other day and it showed up under "Everything".

Yeah, it will show. However as we've spoken about; It's not really a scam so long as you don't tell them your a transmute master and as the item your selling indicates 1 bar, your giving them 1 bar. The player doesn't have a leg to stand on if a GM gets involved. Plus how many people actually check the logs when not in a party eh? the party feature shows crafts, which is why its advisable not to be in one! however you can party up get a proc and still be entitled to only give them one, just they will QQ and could slander your name which isn't worth the grief.

I used to do this but then i realized that i can earn more when i transmute Volatile life to volatile air.
Gave up on transmuting truegold since i only get 1 proc out of 10 transmutes. On my server Volatile life sells gold 8g and Volatile air for 25g+, so thats min 225G profit each day and if i get proc 700g easy....

How is this even considered a scam, he only paid for one transmute and he should only get one transmute any procs I usually keep when I do sell my trans cd. If he want's the extra procs he should give me the mats for the others. This isn't buy one get one free deal or buy one get two free. I sold my cd a couple times and I got some procs and I kept the procs. One of them was watching me doing it checking to see if I got any procs, I got a couple procs but I didn't give it to him, I told him to give me the mats or give me 300g for 2x trans cd for the other procs, he said no and reported me. No reason for transmute alchemists to give out free shit imo.

Might work for a bit, but you will quickly get a scammer name on your server. Regardless of "clever use of words" or w.e

If you want to be really crafty with this, and avoid a "scammer" name for yourself, you can always do what I do:

-Purchase / Craft Truegold, and leave one bar in your bags.
    -Advertise "Selling Truegold CD."
-When they open trade with the mats / tip, trade them the bar in return.

They can complain if they want, they're still getting a truegold bar for the cost of the mats + tip. This is no different than if you were to perform the transmute in front of them. Simply tell them that you used your transmute previously throughout the day if they question it. So long as you don't tell them that you're a transmutation master, they should have no qualms about trading you.
