Nethwerwing Egg Farming Guide (With Locations)

Ok I never seen a guide like this and i thinks its a great addition to this website so here it comes.

You fly around in random pattern or what pattern you think is best for the eggs, well you wont have to, not ever again.

You start by downloading Gathermate2 Addon

Then download the Gathermate2 Database Addon

And now for the thing that sums everything up Routes Addon

Ok, now for the gathermate setup.

1. First you start WoW (obvious step)
2. Login to Netherwing Farming Character (obvious step)
3. Write /gathermate to bring up its window
4. Go to the Import Tab
5. Chose Import Style: Merge
6. Select what you want to import (Treasure contains the netherwing eggs)
7. Do not select any expansion or click any of the boxes below that.
8. Click Import Gathermate2 Data
9. Done with this addon
10. Open up your map and select Shadowmoon Valley and check so there are alot of netherwing eggs on the worldmap.
11. Done, now read routes addon setup.

Now the Routes Addon Setup
1. First you start WoW (obvious step)
2. Login to Netherwing Farming Character (obvious step)
3. Write /routes to bring up its window
4. Go to the "Add" tab
5. Select your Zone (Shadowmoon Valley)
6. Write any name for your route i chose "Netherwing Eggs"
7. Press "Okay" to the right of where you entered your name.
8. Scroll down to the bottom and check the "Treasure- Netherwing Egg" box.
9. Press Create route below it.
10. Your route is now created onto the worldmap (check so it is)
11. It will look very Jagged and not very smooth now we fix that.
12. go back to /routes
13. Press the "+" to the right of the Routes Tab
14. Press the "+" to the right of the Shadowmoon Valley Tab
15. Select your route.
16. Go to Optimize Route (top of the window)
17. Press Cluster
18. Check the box "Extra Optimization"
19. Click the "Foreground" Button (This may freeze your game for up to 5 seconds while regenerating a new optimized route) Don't worry, its worth it.
20. You should be ready to start farming now.

Go there and follow the route (it shows on your minimap)

It should look something like this

Ok i got the .XML done

It is a little bit buggy but it is working with sgather, Iam using it right now. but ill optimize it abit more later.


Also falls to death sometimes when gathering on the platforms/edges but i dont think that can be avoided, its a very bot unfriendly zone

Also remember to add "Netherwing Eggs" to the specific items list in sgather

Did you make sure that the bot you are using, somehow loots the netherwing egg ? Because i recently farmed the dailys and eggs, and when you loot a netherwing egg, a pop up message comes up, saying that looting the egg will bind it to you.

I noticed that in the beginning so i downloaded this addon
