[PvP] Overpowered twinks - 2 shot enemy players and mobs

    Overpowered twinks
2 shot enemy players and mobs

    11.1.2011 - Thread posted
11.1.2011 - Added items for Druid and Rogue
12.1.2011 - Added items for Hunter and Shaman
13.1.2011 - Added items for Deathknight, Warrior and Paladin
    14.1.2011 - Added Enchants (bottom)

Hi to you, i wrote a little guide for your twinks, so here it is.

It's all about the right Items. Most people dont know that you can get cataclysm items before level 80. If you look through the Action House, you can get some and use them three (!) levels before 95% of your enemy does. These items are quiet overpowered from 77 - 80. You get some big advantages to your enemy's.

    • Having 23k - 40k HP's when your enemy only has 8k - 14k HP's.
    • Having 23k - 26k mana when your enemy only has 9k - 15k mana.
    • Having 2600+ (!) spellpower when your enemy only has 900+ spellpower.
    • Having 40% (!) crit when your enemy only has 10% crit.
    • About the same huge improvements comes with melee stats if you are a melee class.

This is such a huge different, i went from 77 - 80 in battlegrounds, killing 80% of the enemy players with 2 - 3 Casts (Shatter) and winning even 1 vs. 5 fights. They cant't stop you and you will win almost every BG. Even outside BGs you will 2 - 3 shot mobs, so you want to grind instead of questing. As Mage (Frost) you will crit for 8k - 10k with Frostbolt and 5k - 7k with Icelance. Enemy's most have ~13k HP's, so you can imagine how fast they will die. Some Screenshots from BG summary.

    Battleground 01
    Battleground 02
    Battleground 03
    Battleground 04
    Battleground 05

So here are the best items you should aiming for, sorted by level and class. Most of those items are drops from cataclysm instances with random stats on it so you have to look at the AH (typically 50g - 100g per item), but there also items you can easy obtain by crafting.

You have way enough damage from those items. If you enchant for stamina now, you will life much longer (3000 more HP's) and you are not only a "Glass Cannon", you are a really "Cannon"! :) You can choose the enchants of the missing slots by yourself, won't be much different.

    • Savage Armor Kit (Permanently increase the Stamina of an item worn on the head, chest, shoulders, legs, hands or feet by 36.)

Already was considering this, but thanks for writing up the list of the actual items, +10 for that.

Edit: Got a list for plate too? That'd be great.

Whats the effectiveness of a full pvp set (resi) versus this twink stuff (health). Does it have the same effect end in the end, survival length.

Basically the post is pointing out the benefit of using the cata gear. You'll gain far more HP, SP, and Crit. You could be fully decked with 1200+ resil in your level 80 pvp gear with (for example) 900 SP but it won't mean jack if I'm coming at you with over twice the amount of Spell Power and HP. More SP/crit = faster kills. More HP = Live longer (/doh) Hope this helped

Great guide. I miss the golden days of twinking, but this should be fun with my mage +rep

As everyone else said, common sense, but you basically put it all together, for all options, so +rep for that mate !

And looking like one of your first contributions, keep them coming! ^_^

If you freeze your xp in the 79 bracket, before you can get 80 resi, you'll be roflstomping everyone with ease.

This items are much more efficient, for sure. You will hardly recognize if you enemy wears a full set of resilience,
