[Tip] Easy Gold with darkmoon cards + Spreadsheet

Since the last darkmoon faire is over and the next one will start at the 6th of february, it's currently impossible to craft the darkmoon cards like "Darkmoon Card: Tsunami" (Darkmoon Card: Tsunami - Item - World of Warcraft).
The prices of these sets skyrocketted now and people are paying 10k or even 20k more for a set than last week. The price for the normal cards, where you craft the set with (so for this example ace-eight of waves) dropped enormously. I bought my card just 1 day before the darkmoon faire ended and payed around 31k gold. Currently I would pay like ~20k. So what you gonna do now is easy. Just buy the cardsets now and wait till the next darkmoon faire comes. You can sell the complete set if you want to make quick gold, or wait 1 week more until the cards are unobtainable again for 1 month and sell the sets then.

The only thing you have to do now, check your AH, edit the green fields and see what you can get out of it

So what you gonna do now is..
1. Check your AH and fill in all the prices in the excel spreadsheet
2. Buy the cards and complete a/some sets
3. wait till the darkmoon fair is back
4. turn in your set, get your epic cards
5. wait till the darkmoon fair is over
6. sell the epic cards and buy new single cards
7. repeat

You can complete a card set, but you can't trade it into the card itself because there is no darkmoon faire to trade thats why the prices for the epic trinkets (cards) explode, while the price for the normal cards to complete the set drop

Of course you need it. You can't hand in a set to get the epic card w/o darkmoon fair being around. And exactly THIS is why prices for the epic CARD explode while the prices for the normal cards drop

To make profit with this method, you don't need anymore information. Just the set costs + the AH price of the finished card. Sorry that I haven't included what a banana costs or what profit you would make if you buy gold at the north pole and then sell it in uganda =(

I never asked for rep, I just wanted to make things easier for other people. If you don't appreciate this work, then don't. But stop flaming others for trying to help. Apart from that there are at least 2 (I think there are more) people who didn't knew that you can't obtain the cards currently. So atleast in that point I helped somebody out. And now, pls get out of here. If you think mmowned is shitty, then just leave and chillout with your friends at the playground
I also suggest you to train your counting skills, as my excel counts sums of EIGHT rows!

You forgot 1 thing. Next Darkmoon fairy is in one month, and by then price will drop so you might lose gold and not earn. But as for making gold by making decks few days before darkmoon, i can confirm this. Made myself Volcano card ( cost me about 15K ) by buying cards from Ah ( or making a bid ), and few days into Darkmoon prices got to 25K+.

I've also mentioned that prices will drop again, but the fact that the next darkmoon fair is in 1 month, is why prices for the blue cards are so low and prices for the epic cards so high. So you gonna buy the blue cards now, turn them in as soon as the darkmoon fair is back and then WAIT AGAIN till it's over because prices for the epic cards will be high again.
