Inscription Gold Making guide (1000gold+ while sitting)

First of all you need Inscription(350 skill) And lvl 72+


Then go to Grizzly Hills Silverbrook Village and farm Silverbrook Villager and Silverbrook Trapper as they have highest chance to drop the book.

You are going to farm Technique: Rituals of the New Moonit will probably take you 10-60 minutes.(Note you must be Inscriptionist so it can drop)

After you get it, learn it ofcourse.

Now this is server depended.(Mats are not expensive. On my realm mats cost 50gold per book) .

For each book you need following mats:

5x [Ink of the Sea] to make one you need 2x[Azure Pigment] which you get from milling Northrend herbs.I recommed you to check following on Auction house.

[Adder's Tongue] 10g20s-13g80s
[Goldclover] 6g40s-9g40s
[Tiger Lily] 5g60s-9g
[Deadnettle] 7g20s-9g60s

Those are prices on my realm.


By my calculations each stack should give you around 13-18 Azure Pigment's


Another thing that you need is [Resilient Parchment] Each Resillient Parchment cost 50 Silver's each. They are sold by vendore near Inscription Trainer . Each book needs 10x Resillient Parchment's. So its equal to 5gold.

And last thing that you need is 3x [Eternal Shadow] .
You can either farm them or simpler buy it from auction house.
Each Eternal Shadow cost 12 gold on my realm.

So in total you spend 51 gold. You can sell each book from 150 Gold-300 Gold, so you are getting 150% minimum you have spent. Also when you put books on Auction House try to spam a little in trade for example.

Selling [Rituals of the New Moon] xxx gold each. In all colours. You will notice that people actualy buys it . Have fun guys and good luck.

The funny thing is he bots on the toon, so hes always trying to sell it in trade. It's actually quite a good money making method if you are the only one trying to sell it on your server.

Very commonly used method, you will probably find several people one each realm doing this.

The best technique to get these things sold is put about 3-5 on the AH (for let's say 80 gold) and keep about 3 in your bags. Then go to a populated area like IF/SW/Org (even Dalaran) and equip one of your own Rituals. Then make some cool macro to put in /s (Make stuff up, like pretend you are roleplaying while turning into a werewolf) and it will get people's attention. Then after people have seen you, post another macro in /s and in /2 that you are selling the item for 100 gold (this is 20g higher than the AH one). Then watch all your auctions get sold within the next 5 minutes and perhaps even some 100g sales directly.

Even cooler is if people buy directly from you / or you know people who have rituals already / or give some of the rituals to friends, and get them come dance and roleplay with you in the main city and it will definitely grab some attention. It's the kid of vanity item that people really need to see in action before they buy it.

A gargoyle may be a cool transformation, but in my opinion a vampire wouldn't be very special.

This is legit, made around 6k using this technique over the past couple days, dropped within the first 5 mobs I killed. Some people flame you for selling it for so high but like 50% of the time they buy it for ~400. I was the only one on my server doing it but now one person has caught on

Without having read this guide, one of my friends accidentally got the dropped recipe while he was looking for some random stuff. Now he's making about 4-5k a day selling the books for 200g ea on the AH and trade chat. Several people buy all 5 different colors as well >_>
