So as many of you know... Zul'gurub is going to be removed as a Raid Instance. You know what that means? Yes that's right, some special item in there is going to be worth a lot of mullah!

You ask which item? The one and only Tome of Polymorph: Turtle - Item - World of Warcraft will be worth a handsome amount of money come a few weeks into Cataclysm. I've farmed about eight tomes so far, you better get cracking!

This drops from Gahz'ranka - NPC - World of Warcraft who is fishable by aquiring Mudskunk Lure - Item - World of Warcraft from Nat Pagle - NPC - World of Warcraft.

Nobody knows exactly what is going to happen to ZG. Will it be removed completely, changed to a 5 man dungeon or even just an elite area in Stranglethorn.

If it's transformed into a 5 man dungeon, will there still be the same bosses with the same loot?

I hope they don't make it easier to obtain turtle if they make it a 5 man dungeon, I'm gonna farm some tomes just incase thanks for the reminder.

If removed as a raid instance it won't be the same since they're going to fine tune certain instances, Deadmines is becoming heroic I don't doubt they will do the same with ZG and change the loot. It won't always be the same.

The instance will not be removed but it will be modified. I went there i sandbox mode and it has been changed a bit.
So they will use it in cata.

Either way, we should know before the expansion hits... sell them quick if they don't remove it and keep this spell >.<

Note: To buy the Mudskunk lures from Nat Patangle you must do this quest :Nat's Measuring Tape - Quest - World of Warcraft
It requires you to go into Zul'Gurub and find his Measuring Tape (Easy).
Nat Patangle is in Dustwallow Marsh so expect a bit of traveling between ZG and Dustwallow.
Also Note: The Lures are not BoP so you can sell them, or send them to your other alts, so you only have to complete this quest on one character.
