Reasons to do "The Flame Warden" Achievements!

wOkay, so I'm an achievement/title/mount/pet whore, and though "The Flame Warden" only gives me 3 of those- I still had fun doing it. And if you're one of those people who don't like doing these there are upsides to them anyway. So I'm going to start explaining the advantages about doing these sets of achievements:

    Gold:
    - You get 5 gold for each Flame you honor, throughout Kalimdor, Eastern Kingdoms, Outlands and Northrend. (Northrend don't count towards achievements!)
    - There are a total of 40 flames, so that means you get roughly 200 Gold, maybe a few gold extra.

    - You get 10 gold for each Alliance/Horde flame you extinguish, throughout Kalimdor, Eastern Kingdoms, Outlands and Northrend. (Northrend don't count towards achievements!)
    - There are a total of 40 flames so that means you get roughly 400 Gold, give maybe a few gold extra.

    - So altogether you get 600+ Gold.
List of Fires for Achievements (No Northrend Locations!): (Taken from WoW.com)

    Experience:
    - Dancing around the ribbon pole gives you 10% more EXP from monster kills. With 2 pieces of Heirloom that's 30% Extra EXP.
    - When did one of the quests with my 74 Warlock I got 20k EXP, so doing the quests is definitely worth it for the EXP.
    Gear:
    - The capes that drop from the Lord Ahune Daily Dungeon are item level 232 and there are numerous ones to go with just about any class.
    - From Lord Ahune you also have the chance to get a Scythe named: Frostscythe of Lord Ahune which gives you; +92 Stam, +92 Int, 550 Spell Power, 80 Haste and 80 to Crit. On top of that, it looks cooler than most weapons that are out right now.
    - From doing the Lord Ahune Daily Dungeon you also get 2 separate Frost Emblems on top of the ones you get from the normal Daily Dungeon.
    Achievements:
    - Doing the Flame Warden Achievements can give you up to: 140 Achievement Points and if you remember Cataclysm Guild Leveling is going to be based on achievements as well as other things.
    - You have the ability to get the "Flame Warden" Title, and on my server at least it seems like a semi-rare title.
    - You have the ability to get one pet (350 Burning Blossoms) that counts towards the: "Shop Smart, Shop Pet... Smart" achievement. And if you did the Flame Warden/Extinguishing Achievements, then you'll be able to get the pet relatively easy.
    - From Lord Ahune you have the slim possibility to get the minipet "Ice Chip" which also counts towards the "Shop Smart, Shop Pet... Smart" achievement.
    - The Fire Quests also count towards the Seeker Title, Not the Loremaster though. (Thanks eSko!)

    - Also, if you have the extra ambition, you can get the Explorer Achievements since your already running around the world!
    Doing the Dailies:

    - There are a total of 3 dailies you can do:
    -- Torch Tossing (5 Blossoms)
    -- Torch Catching (5 Blossoms)
    -- Striking Back (10 Blossoms)

    - Torch Tossing: One of the easiest ways to do this is to hot key the torch, and just be quick with your mouse. If your late on one, don't try to hit it, cause it'll only set you back on the next- Just simply skip one and continue. (Unlimited Retry's)

    - Torch Catching: If your a Hunter, Druid, Shaman or some class that has a speed boost this is a good daily to use it on. It's straight forward, follow the shadow on the ground to catch the torch before it blows up on the ground. (Pro-Tip: Don't use the keyboard to turn, use your mouse- Makes it much easier!)

    - Striking Back: This doesn't show up above the Earthen Ring Elder's head if your 80, so be sure to check it out. It's pretty straight forward. Go to the Outlands Portal (Use the portal in every major city!) use the ice stone and kill the 67 Glacial Templar.
Hope this gave you the ambition to do the Flame Warden Achievement!

    -Exi

    Edit:
EVERYTHING EXCEPT THE COORDS I WROTE MYSELF! I DIDN'T COPY AND PASTE FROM ANYWHERE!

How is this a guide exactly?

Telling us the benefits of the midsummer has nothing at all to do with a guide mate...

    Keep trying to contribute though.

Have to agree with him there, but if you re-worded a few things to make it a guide you might get better responses, but at the minute it isn't a guide.

It's a guide to the Flame Warden Achievement/Title.

This tells you the Coords of the Honor the Flame/Extinguish the Flames achievements, a basic run down of the dailies and tips on how to do them. As well as gear and experience you can gain from doing these quests.

Definition of Guide Taken from Word Web:

-Someone who shows the way by leading or advising
-Something that offers basic information or instruction

This is what a guide is dude, anything more and I'd have to get on your account and do it for you.

You wrote this?... Because that is the rest mate. Everything copied except the 2 fist lines, so.

And if you claim its not from wowhead, its wowwiki, cus i've done this on several characters on different accounts with /follow, to do it for my friends, and then i got the gold, saw the info on wiki.

Fire quests also count for the Seeker title (not for Loremaster).

I don't know how hard it is to understand written words, but yes. Other than the Coords list, I wrote everything myself.

From putting together the reasons, to explaining about the different pets.

So kthnxbai, don't come back if your just going to be a fag. Of course WoWHead and WoWWiki have the same information, written the same way? No.

From this post are you getting something that's not generally found somewhere else? Yup.

    So as I said, kthnxbai.

It is good to do the quests for XP, but really with all the travel time. and FP costs etc. there are a lot easier ways to make money. If you have the title already, grab the fires you happen to be close by, but don't spend all day doing them hoping to get rich quick.

Bit off-topic here and I don't know if this is a true fact but:
"Doing the Flame Warden Achievements can give you up to: 140 Achievement Points and if you remember Cataclysm Guild Leveling is going to be based on achievements as well as other things. "

I am scared that this will result in guild adverts looking like:
Guild <RandomNameHere> looking for more players, need 5k+ achievement points to join..

Well it makes sense if they do. We already have guilds that look at nothing more than GS and DPS, so why not achievement based ones?

That's very cool if you do, but some people don't.
