900g Profit Per Day (or more) Sitting in a City - NOT a Casino

This is a guide I think you are going to love. Definitely.
It's basically like a lottery, only WoW style. And not so much with gold, but with items.

    SETUP

You will need a few things for this, all of which are free:

    - Generate Codes - Random Code Generator - Generate the codes for the "lottery tickets."
    - Notepad - Windows users, or TextEdit - Mac users. - You will be using this to keep track of the tickets you have which are winners, and the tickets you have which are losers. Using this, you won't have to worry about anyone scamming you.

The next step is to mail about 100 letters (or more, if you are looking for more profit, but I usually only do 100 each day) from a main toon to a mule toon. If you are doing this the same way I do it, it will be divided up like this:

    80/100 tickets = losers
    20/100 tickets = winners.

The 80 loser tickets should be setup like this:
    -[random code]-
I'm sorry! It appears you have lost. Keep trying and see what great rewards you can get. Remember, the rewards change from time to time, so prizes can always vary.
Remember to buy your ticket from -[character name]-.
...And the 20 winner tickets might look something like this:
    -[random code]-
Congratulations! You won! Turn this letter into -[character name]- to redeem your -[item you are giving winners]-! If you would like to try again, buy another ticket! And remember, always buy them from -[character name]-, or you might be buying from someone with no reward system.
So you can post these tickets on the Auction House, and advertise it in the trade channel with whatever you want. My macro is...

/2 The WoW Lottery is here for the day! Come to the Auction House, do a search for "Plain Letter," (which you must make sure you buy from me,) retrieve it from your mailbox, and see whether or not you have won! Possible prizes are: Frost Lotus - Frozen Orb - Eternals - Arctic Fur - Stacks of Northrend Herbs and Ore - even a BoE epic item. (one BoE per week.) - and much more.
I usually price the tickets at 10g each. If you are able to sell all the tickets, you will come out with a profit of at least 900g. It isn't 1kg profit because of the very minimal cost to send the letters, and the Auction House takes away 5% of the gold made in your auctions, which would be 950g without subtracting the cost of creating the letters.

Read on for more tips of this gold making strategy.

How I use the Code Generator and Notepad:

    [SPOILER]
Now to explain Notepad and Random Code Generator.

You are going to be using these two things to make sure that nobody is able to scam your lottery by making their own that look alike and turning them into you.

You will use the generator to create the lottery tickets, and Notepad to create a database of the tickets you make.

The generator needs to be set up like this:

    - Code length: 8

    - Character sets to use: [x] Digits (this is the only one you want, unless you would like to make it a little more complex, using letters and such.)

    - Codes to generate: 100 (or the amount of letters you plan on creating)

    - ...and the rest you may leave as is.

Now, click the "Generate codes" button. These were the codes that I was given:

Now, assign these to a lottery card in Notepad, by setting up something like this:

    Example Codes.txt
    -----------------
78543682 - Winner: receives frozen orb.
    35487120 - Loser
65419847 - Winner: receives eternal fire
    51686847 - Loser
    45654654 - Loser
And just make the letters using the template I had given you above, and the codes you have generated.
    [/SPOILER]

I hope you liked this. After I discovered this, I got my Mechano-Hog, Traveler's Tundra Mammoth, and maxxed Jewelcrafting without Mining. I still have 49,341g 57s 4c (or atleast that's what it was before the downtime went up.)

    /Enjoy!

If you'd like, I'll write up a program really quick to do generate random codes, save it into a txt log, then let you search for the code, and check if its a winner... I've got nothing better to do, so i don't mind, lol *shrug*

Besides for the "code" part, it's exactly the same but apparently not wanting to be found (closed or deleted maybe a long with all the other lottery/casino games.

Either way, I still say to US players, be very careful of this idea, it's very iffy and can easily earn you a ban.

Yes, correct. I just asked a GM about this (too lazy too read it ;D) He also said it's bannable, I play on an EU Server.
