Gold making in Cataclysm
Hi folks out there, i would like to post my money making guide for Cataclysm.
Sorry for my poor english, but i think everybody can understand it.
First off all, you need some starting money, i spent 30k Gold so far, but remembering WotLK it´s definatly worth it.
Now go to your favourite AuctionHouse and by some things
I use Auctioneer Snatch function, it´s easier to buy all the things i want to have.
Things to buy:
Infinite Dust
Abyss Cristall
Dream Shard
Greater Cosmic Essence
Saronite Bar You can also buy Ore if it´s cheaper!
Titanium Bar You can also buy Ore if it´s cheaper!
I buy all of this items at a low price whenever i can get them, Infinite Dust usualy goes for about 2g each, i only buy dust cheaper then 1g50, same for the rest auf the Items. Just buy these items as cheap as you can. (weekend works best)
As Cataclysm will be released first nothing will change, but after a few weeks the prices will skyrocket, because no one will farm these "old" items but everyone will need them skilling up their profession.
I did this when WotLK was released and after some weeks i sold all of the old BC items i brought before and made 80k Gold with just some Auctioning. I brought all the new Three Passengers Mounts for all my Chars and now i´m a little bit out of money
. But thanks to Blizzard, i can earn some easy money when Cataclysm hits the World of Warcraft.
I hope you will enjoy my guide

Fail. At the start of cataclysm, these items will all be obsolete, and the only reason the prices would ever skyrocket would be after 6months or so when new alts start entering the game and people need the mats for professions. This can be seen with TBC materials at the moment.
Infinite dust - used for enchanting (will get replaced with a new material, so its only REAL use will be used for leveling enchanting)
This goes for all other enchanting mats
Saronite + titanium will most likely drop (only real need is for epic crafting, and who needs lvl 80 epics when u can get 82 greens that will be better)
Personally, i think the real money to be made at the start of cataclysm will be the new professions, such as archaeology. I bet the high end recipes will be discoverable or vendored from tokens, and so it will be a race to see who can dominate the AH before others can (i can remember when the new glyphs came out, and you had one lucky guy who discovered the high demand glyphs before anyone else did, and made about 50k in one night).

TBH this could work. Cataclysm will bring two new classes and probably 60% of server population will level one or perhaps both. If you dont have gold to spare and invest in something that could be risky then don't. But who knows, perhaps you can turn your 10K gold investment into 40K one.
