Ret Paladin guide (srsly)

Nah jk, Im writing this guide because I am in the midst of gearing up a ret paladin and I could not find a single guide on the net that gives an up to date ret pally gearing guide, along with spec and rotation

I will begin with the specs and rotations as they are the most important :P

Spec: I will preface this with the following statement, Paladin talent trees are godawful. They are the worst trees of any class end of story, most of the utility talents are crap for pve so this leaves us to straight damage talents.
Now the spec :
Talent Calculator - World of Warcraft
This is the most pve oriented spec with as few filler talents as possible
Any questions about the spec feel free to post them but this is the highest theoretical dps.

Rotation:
*KEEP YOUR SEAL UP* SoV is the obvious choice for bosses and SoCMM is obvious for trash that dies quickly, I believe the rule is
If life>12sec than SoV otherwise Socmm
according to CLCret- a ret pally rotation addon, the rotation is CS Judge DS Exo, Conse
This is a good rough gude as a rotation but to be honest it just doesnt hold up in a raid situation

I prefer the following
If it is a boss you run to then Judge asap
Otherwise this is simply a priority system

HoW is top priority, then CS, then DS, then Judge, then Exo, dont bother with consecrate unless its an aoe pull, you will oom on bosses if you spam conse.

Next, the gear

With 3.3.3 dropping crafted gear has become exponentially cheaper, so I will be listing a lot of crafted gear as it will be affordable

At a later time I can post a guide for those of you who are cheapskates but here is intro gear, the only obscenely expensive piece will be the weapon, however it is leaps and bounds better than any that you will find outside of arena or ICC

Head: Turalyon's Helm of Conquest - Item - World of Warcraft
Neck:Spiked Battleguard Choker - Item - World of Warcraft
Shoulder: Turalyon's Shoulderplates of Conquest - Item - World of Warcraft
Back:Drape of the Undefeated - Item - World of Warcraft If you get 1 item from reg toc let this be it, it is an amazing cloak and will tide you over till you have the 264 frost one
Chest:Titanium Razorplate - Item - World of Warcraft (ARP is a bad stat however its better than anything you can get due to the 3 sockets)
Wrist:Belt of the Titans - Item - World of Warcraft They are better than 213, and while ARP is bad they will tide you over until you can grab something better
Hands: Turalyon's Gauntlets of Conquest - Item - World of Warcraft
Waist: Belt of the Titans - Item - World of Warcraft
Legs:Turalyon's Legplates of Conquest - Item - World of Warcraft
Feet:Battlelord's Plate Boots - Item - World of Warcraft
Ring1: Bloodshed Band - Item - World of Warcraft
Ring2:Signet of Edward the Odd - Item - World of Warcraft May be expensive but the haste proc is really cool and this ring will tide you over until you can hop into uld/toc/icc
Trinket1:Darkmoon Card: Greatness - Item - World of Warcraft Get it get it get it get it, the best piece of boe gear, translates into just over 400 str with the proc up due to Divine Strength, 45sec internal cd, amazing trinket
Trinket2:Mark of Supremacy - Item - World of Warcraft OR Mirror of Truth - Item - World of Warcraft, up to you if you need the hit or not
Weapon: Quel'Delar, Might of the Faithful - Item - World of Warcraft Amazing for ret paladins, Orca-Hunter's Harpoon - Item - World of Warcraft is the second best with tyrannical beheader coming in at third, but please, buy this weapon, it is on par with most icc 10 weapons
Libram: Libram of Valiance - Item - World of Warcraft

Gems and Enchants
Meta: Chaotic Skyflare Diamond - Item - World of Warcraft should be obvious why
Red: Bold Cardinal Ruby - Item - World of Warcraft
Blue: Bold Cardinal Ruby - Item - World of Warcraft , unless the socket bonus is great in which case a Sovereign Dreadstone - Item - World of Warcraft is also good, in fact one of the dreadstones and a nightmare tear are necessary for your meta
Yellow: Yep you guessed it Bold Cardinal Ruby - Item - World of Warcraft , if the socket bonus is incredible grab a crit gem or a str/crit gem Inscribed Ametrine - Item - World of Warcraft

Enchants:
Head:Arcanum of Torment - Item - World of Warcraft
Back:Scroll of Enchant Cloak - Major Agility - Item - World of Warcraft ... the enchant itself not the scroll
Shoulder: Greater Inscription of the Axe - Item - World of Warcraft
Chest: Formula: Enchant Chest - Powerful Stats - Item - World of Warcraft
Bracer: Formula: Enchant Bracers - Greater Assault - Item - World of Warcraft
Hands:Scroll of Enchant Gloves - Crusher - Item - World of Warcraft
Belt:Eternal Belt Buckle - Item - World of Warcraft
Legs: Icescale Leg Armor - Item - World of Warcraft
Feet: Formula: Enchant Boots - Greater Assault - Item - World of Warcraft

Weapon: Formula: Enchant Weapon - Berserking - Item - World of Warcraft the only clear choice

Well, this is about it for the guide, ive covered gear, enchants, gems, spec, and rotation, however I do not claim to know everything about Ret paladins. If anyone has any constructive criticism and would like to add anything feel free to post, however if you are here to flame gtfo.

I play a Ret Pally and have never ever seen the spec you posted. 90% of people spec using
Talent Calculator - World of Warcraft
This spec has been calculated to produce the most DPs possible.
your rotation depends on your gear. If you have 2PC T9 Judgement has a higher priority over CS. When you have 2PC T10 DS gets priority over CS. Judgement is always use ahead of DS unless you have 2Pc T10. and on boss fights you do use Consecration. You will not go OOM if you keep it up the whole time and use DP accordingly.

pvp spec brah, divine sac has wayyyy more raid utility

That is the main PvE spec. Divine sac no longer has raid viability as it no longer covers the entire raid. just your party.

So why is aura mastery viable at all in pve

In fights that have raid wide damage with fire, frost or shadow you pop AM do reduce the damage.

Also a majority of the time it is better to use Relentless Earthsiege Diamond - Item - World of Warcraft having to socket 2 Blue gems sucks. Blue sockets are only useful in gear that has +8 STR bonus(IE: Gendarme's Cuirass - Item - World of Warcraft). For the yellow sockets if the bonus is +4 STR or higher you use the ametrine.
